    Hello.
Since I was thinking about buying a TV, in a supermarket newspaper, you can often find Thomson (which I have been wondering about for a long time) and TCL at a very similar price. I read here
    http://www.thomsontv.pl/o-nas/grupa-tcl/informacje-ogolne,
it's part of the Thomson brand and here are some questions about TCL:
    - are these TV sets manufactured in Poland?
    - what is the difference between TCL and Thomson execution? (I do not mean the matrix parameters but about plastics, remote control, etc.),
    - how is the failure rate?
I was thinking about this model:

I would not experiment with such brands there :D You never know what you will get and how much it will break. If you want to return it to the service under warranty, it will turn out later that it is really nowhere to be found :P Enter the amount for the TV and what you expect, we will choose something.

Thomson is manufactured in Poland (at least it was because I have a CRT from 2003) and the knock on the knock is still working flawlessly. But since I know what TCL is, I will keep looking

I bought TCL 39 "about 2 months ago in the German retail chain Marktkauf for EUR 299. It flashes without reservations. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. The remote control is very readable, the on-screen menu is easy to learn from the first turn on. Of course, in Polish. A multitude of sockets. facilitates trouble-free configuration of connections The only drawback is the lack of a built-in satellite tuner
Finally, I would like to add (to curb all speculation) that on the cardboard box next to the barcode, in a modest font, it reads: Made in Poland. It is strange that you will not find anything like that on, for example, Amica products or their packaging.

This is how I looked through the forum and came across it, so let me dig it out a bit and share my opinion.

Well, like the user tomek743, I am also the happy owner of this TV from TLC. At first I didn't know that it had anything to do with a TV from Thomson, until my brother decided to buy some new TV32 'from this brand. Any differences? Apart from the price, the color of the housing, the known diagonal of the screen and the menu skin - nothing! The entire rear panel, connections, parameters (except for inches) were almost identical. And I will add that my TV39 'cost me - note - PLN 1279 (some promotion in the online store, I don't remember which one, now there is something around PLN 1300), and my brother's TV - something around PLN 1350. I was controlling both of them with one remote at a time :D

If someone is not looking for wonders and heaps of unnecessary functions, let him buy without thinking. Currently I use it for TV (external set-top box) and as a computer monitor. Both applications work well.

I just got interested in this product as well.
What does: Maximum PC resolution of 1366x768?
I want to use this equipment only to watch content from my computer, also in Full HD, should I understand that this TV will not support full HD resolution in PC mode?
What is the matter of connecting the computer to it? There must be a VGA connector (analog) or does it also support HDMI output from the computer?

As someone wrote above, TLC is one of the largest LCD TV companies.
    We have little known, underestimated.
They make pretty good TV, not necessarily under their brand name.
Eg TV-furniture Ikea Uppleva, it's TLC, how it displays can be seen in every Ikea showroom, and it displays quite well ;)

As mentioned, the domin TV appeared in a well-known supermarket after buying it blind at home, I was positively disappointed with the great quality of the image, the remote control readable in the tuner being built, I recommend 32 inches for PLN 680

    to topix1:
Can you write something more about him?

I read the opinions and most of them - that they are dumb, that the disastrous "lack of black, poor color reproduction, noise. In a word: equipment from the previous era." "a lot of shortcomings in the Smart TV platform: programming flaws, malfunctions, freezes" :(

I am thinking about a 46 inch screen (currently at a price of about PLN 1,900 - the price of such a screen size in others starts from 3,000,000, so veeery competitive,

but I wonder what the other bottom is - is it just that there is no 3D? or maybe after these 5 years of warranty it "explodes" and is suitable for the trash?

Does anyone else have this TV and can say something more about it ???

Since there are only praises here, I will add a little tar. The neighbor's TV has just broken down. The warranty expired in November last year. So it died after 6 months from the end of the warranty. HDMI inputs broke. No connection. And from the euro entry the picture is red. From the antenna input it works.

Regarding the Thomson brand TV and its failure rate.
I had such a TV at home for several years and nothing ever happened. No faults.

Close your eyes and take. Even for a computer monitor ;-) I recently saw 4K 3D for 799 Euro 55 "with the designation U55S7606DS. Fixed (though with the price) tightly packed in the corner of the Real market. Samsung, Sony and a few others of this size were proudly presented on the shelves at prices from 1300 Euro and above
ps. My TCL 39 "continues to run smoothly

It makes up for it quite strongly, moreover, TVs are installed in Poland :) , The class range from the simplest, of course, the cheapest to the more expensive (but still competitive in price and quality, sometimes much better than the leading brands) through QuantumDota to ultra-thin LEDs below 10mm, but the last in 2016

Topic summary

TCL is a Chinese electronics company that acquired Thomson, integrating its patents and manufacturing capabilities. While TCL TVs are produced in Poland, specifically in Żyrardów, the quality and components of TCL and Thomson models are largely similar, with differences primarily in design and features. Users have reported varying experiences with TCL's durability, with some praising their performance and others noting issues post-warranty. The TCL L32F3300C model is mentioned as a potential purchase, with discussions highlighting its affordability and features, although concerns about its failure rate and overall quality persist. Comparisons indicate that Thomson models are generally positioned as higher-end within the TCL brand portfolio.
