Hello.
In my fridge Minsk (after 36 years!) The unit got off.
Therefore, I am facing the choice of a new fridge.
I found information that the factory in Minsk is still operational, they only changed their name to Atlant.
The Polish distributor is MPM. I asked a friend who professionally deals with repair of household appliances and he expressed himself in the worst words about MPM products. However, he noted that the refrigerators he repaired were 100% Chinese.
Perhaps MPM once imported refrigerators from China and now from Belarus and sell them under their own brand.
I will paste the content of the advertisement here because the regulations prohibit placing links to the auction.
Can anyone comment on the quality of these refrigerators currently produced?
best regards

Quote:I will sell ABSOLUTELY NEW, originally packed fridge-freezer, distributed and signed with the logo of a well-known Polish company from the household appliances industry: MPM from Milanówka. The fridge was produced by the leading and recognized Belarusian manufacturer of home appliances with a long tradition, ATLANT, known especially among the older part of the society under the name MIŃSK (?????.
If you have ever had a Minsk product, then you know that it was reliable and long-lived, and you probably got rid of it only because it was power-hungry, not because it broke! Modern "Minsk" combines tradition with reliability and is energy-saving (class A +).
The device with the MPM logo is devoid of complicated electronics (mechanical control), LCD displays and other "fountains" present in modern refrigerators, which are programmed for one purpose: break down at the right time!
It has two basic functions: cool and freeze, and performs them flawlessly. In contrast to other "budget" products, also recognized Polish manufacturers, in which CHINESE compressors (the heart of the fridge) are already being massively assembled, "Minsk" once again surprises! He installs his compressors (Atlant), but manufactures them under a DANFOSS license (Denmark). The products are painted on a line provided by EISENMANN (Germany). The Atlant company meets a number of international standards: DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 9001-200 0, ISO 14001-2000, ISO 9001-96, ISO 9002.
