    Hello everyone,

I recently purchased devices (as in the topic) with the intention of connecting them so that the router sends the network to the home via Wifi.

I've read a lot of topics about connecting the above, updating software, uploading gargoyle etc, but nothing worked. Namely:

    1) The first time the router was connected, it worked as it should (the USB and Internet LEDs were solid green, the modem was also solid blue), the Wifi connection was successful. However, the next time the router is turned on (and each subsequent one), the scheme looks like this: the modem tries to connect, the LEDs on the router appear once, not once, the modem lights up once with continuous blue, sometimes interrupted, once not at all, and even when the modem connects to the router successfully, when it tries connect (via wifi or cable) to pc, usb and internet diodes go out, connection cannot be established.

    2) I did not find gargoyle firmware for v3 router,
    3) The modem works flawlessly directly after connecting to the computer and laptop (it has been reset to the factory settings on the HiLink play-internet page - nothing was done)
    4) The router has the latest firmware from the manufacturer's website, multiple reboots did not give any result
    5) I also configured the connection on the tplinkwifi.net website - no results.

Anything else can be done or are these devices simply incompatible?
    Please help.

Volumes have been written about the 'suitability' of the MR-3420 for LTE modem support. and their aggregation, so buying the E3372h-153 modem is a misunderstanding in advance Version v3 MR-3420 that is the only rescue is https://eko.one.pl/?p=mifi and FW http://dl.eko.one. pl / mifi / ar71xx / mifi-17.01-snapshot-r3514-97ebdf9-tl-mr3420-v3-squashfs-factory.bin and the configuration with this e3372h-153 HiLink because you probably have one, but I wouldn't count on miracles. If LTE signal parameters weak, the modem consumes a lot of current, so surely and active Hub to power the modem and possibly an external antenna for the selected band. /www.lte-anbieter.info/ltewatch/count_huawei.php?Datei=ltewatch_h or https://www.dropbox.com/s/x3f5jxw89rjk0i9/E5186%20Toolbox_lat est.zip?dl=0 in these programs, after logging in to E3372, you can force a specific LTE band. They show BTS data and LTE signal parameters.

Today I will not make it, but tomorrow I will check your advice in detail. Probably it will not be without an active hub or without buying a more expensive router. I also combine with an external LTE antenna, because my location is hopeless. Thank you for your help. Best regards!

I decided not to play anymore.
I was able to return the MR-3420 router, added two hundred and bought an ASUS RT-AC1200G +. So far, it flies without problems. Thanks for the help !
    best regards

This router, in turn, has a choice of two Wifi connections (bands): 2.4 and 5GHz. Which network is better to connect to?
