    Hello, I am forced to replace the tailgate (I was robbed through the boot) in my Golf IV 1999 and I cannot get the paint code. Anticipating the question about a sticker or a service book - I do not have it. I tried to follow the paint color after the VIN number - poor result. Maybe someone is able to come to the photos? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Drive to the paint mixing room, ask for a template and match if the staff is competent, they will quickly determine your color.

    In the photos it looks more or less like on my Bor - LB5N.

    pebble In the end, I'll probably have to do that. So far I am looking for other methods because the nearest paint mixing plant is not on my way.

    Davidos Could you send me some photos of your Bora? Maybe when you compare the photos you will be able to find the paint code. I also think it's LB5N.
