NextPCB launches free PCBA support program for RP2040 projects
NextPCB announces a new round of its support program focused on the Raspberry Pi microcontroller RP2040 edc5bc8dc RP2040, offering two fully assembled PCBA prototypes free of charge for projects based on RP2040. Sponsorship includes PCB fabrication, components, SMT assembly and worldwide shipping up to $500. Participants also receive engineering support from prototype to production implementation.

Why NextPCB
● Production-quality assembly of the RP2040: Proven operation of the compact 7×7 mm QFN chassis with 0.4 mm lead spacing with precision pick-and-place and advanced automated inspection for reliable results.
● Series firmware programming available: Streamlines the build process and saves time and labour.
● Functional testing available: Free functional testing of up to 10 units, ideal for prototypes from the support package.
● Complete 1:1 support: Production engineering, design consultancy, certification and production support.
What participants receive
● 2 FREE RP20 PCBA units 40 per approved project (PCB + parts + assembly + shipping, limited to $500 USD);
● Preferential pricing for RP2040 chips for production with NextPCB turnkey PCBA service;
● DFM/BOM inspections and implementation support from an experienced team.
Who can apply
Priority is given to business and original projects. Hobby projects are welcome if they are your own project ; publicly published or external projects are not eligible. Each participant can receive one support package per account .
How to join
1. Register your project by sending an e-mail to support(_at_)nextpcb.com ; if necessary, a NDA may be concluded.
2. Once you have registered submit a PCBA enquiry through the PCBA pricing system NextPCB and follow the instructions, to collect two free RP2040 PCBA units .
3. NextPCB will inspect the DFM/BOM, assemble, optionally test functionality and ship the units.
