Well I have the following installation problem. I have a 2015 Macbook Pro - a few months ago I installed Big Sur on it from High Sierra.
Unfortunately, I clicked the Tahoe update because it popped up, and after a reboot I had a tiny login window, but neither the touchpad nor the keyboard worked, not even the external ones.
So I wiped the drive, restored the system from the internet to Lion, then El Capitan and High Sierra. I wanted a higher system, so according to the exact step-by-step instructions I did - both the one on the electrode and the YouTube tutorials - practically the same thing. Everything installed nicely on the flash drive. The problem is that when I enter the laptop via Alt/Option on reboot, it only shows me two icons to choose from - "EFI Boot" and the current drive with the installed system. When I click "EFI Boot", I only have the current system to choose from. I've tried several times with Monterey, Sonoma, Sequoia - and still the same thing :( I've also tried selecting a specific Mac model in the Patcher options, and nothing. Does anyone have any ideas?
I remember installing Big Sur via Patcher a few months ago, and everything went nicely, but I can't remember according to which guide.
Well now there is a problem - it can't see the flash drive with the system.
I've also tried formatting the flash drive as both "APFS" and "Mac OS Chronicled".

I made another attempt - I installed Catalina, downloaded Sequoie and Big Sur via the patcher, but both have the same problem, except that now, after a reboot and entering the boot options via "Alt", I only have the current system to choose from, even without "EFI Boot".

I also noticed one difference when creating the installation flash drive - namely when I installed from High Sierra, the end of the log is different, including something about the UEFI version and the lack of a summary "Your OpenCore EFI for MacBookPro"....
On the other hand, when I tried to install from Catalina, the "summary" is already there, but there is not even an EFI Boot selection at all when restarting the laptop.
The one highlighted in red (left) is from the current tutorial, and the dark pictures are what I have - the middle one from High Sierra, the last one from Catalina.
