Searching for drivers on the Internet without knowing the device model.
1-Connect the device to the computer.
2-Enter the device manager.
3-Find an unknown device and go to its properties, tab " Details ".

4-Rewrite your Hardware ID. It may be several lines depending on the device.
for example: PCI \ VEN_168C & DEV_0013 & SUBSYS_5A001385 or USB \ VID_12FD & PID_1001 & REV_0100

5-Device ID will help us search for drivers in google - so we search for this ID.
6-Often the first links from google lead us accurately to the name of the device or even to its drivers.
Please pay attention to the screen - the first link says it is Netgear Atheros AR5002G , and the link leads to the page where you can find the driver most often, ie: www.driverguide.com
Unfortunately, this page requires logging in, and recently it has been difficult to log in there, but this should not discourage you from further searches.

7-Go to the above-mentioned page by clicking on the link found, and then on the tab " File List "

8-It will show us the name of the file - in this case " wg311t_vista_beta.zip "
9-Whoever has an account on the above-mentioned website will, of course, download this file, and others must search for this file in google.
10-Searching for this file you can come across many foreign language sites, but they will surely lead us to the goal:

The only thing left for us to do is download and install the driver.
It should be remembered that many third-party devices are copies of known productions, so the drivers may also match.
Fake driver pages have been emerging for a long time, often forcing non-advanced users to download unnecessary, malicious software that will allegedly install the driver for them.
It happens that the driver will be correct, but with it we will get garbage in the form of new searchbars, toolbars, unnecessary browser add-ons, or changes to its home page.
To avoid the above-mentioned problems, I present below my method of searching for drivers.
Search at http://www.downloadwindowsdrivers.info/
There is no great philosophy here. all you need to do is select what you are looking for, for example:
- We are looking for a driver for the music card with the ID
HDAUDIO \ FUNC _01 & VEN _10EC & DEV _0888 & subsys _103c2a34
We choose in turn
HDAUDIO

FUNC_01

VEN_10EC

DEV_0888

The list of drivers should already be available at this stage, but if we have the option and our [subsys] is on the list, select it.
subsys_103c2a34

We get a list of drivers with a description of their version, release date and file name after which you can make a selection for the operating system.
Please note that [subsys] does not always match and about 90% of the time is irrelevant to our system.
However, there are exceptions, often in laptops that the [subsys] must be identical.
Search at www.driveridentifier.com.
The website itself does not offer a driver search, instead it forces us to use an unnecessary program.
However, you can use google by entering the name of the site and our ID.
Link

The first link directs us to this page - screen.
As you can see, our ID is there, the type of operating system the driver is for, and the ability to download it.

The website requires logging in, but the registration itself is not verified.
So you can register for any imaginary data:

In the next stages, we double-check that we cannot afford the driver fee:

Information will appear in which we click the link:

As a result, the target page with the link to the driver:
1-Connect the device to the computer.
2-Enter the device manager.
3-Find an unknown device and go to its properties, tab " Details ".
