    I am a very energetic beginner and I have a :( problem

Do you know on which dice the prescaler could be made with fmax> = 2GHz ?? The degree of division can be any (only as far as possible for 90S8535). The output signal should be at the TTL level.

    HELP !!!

SAB6456 can work in the 40MHz - 1.2GHz range. Degree of division 64 or 256.
If you are interested, I will send you a catalog note and description of the frequency meter from Nowe Elektronika 5/1999.

    Greetings.

I have this cache and I am going to use it if I can not find anything better. Several times on the net I found something about some Motorola prescaler that work even at over 3GHz, but I do not know if the Motorola gives free samples.

    Hey !
I recommend SDA2101 (replacement SAB 6456). I used it in a frequency meter built on the PIC. The above description is from 40 to 1100 MHz, but in practice it turned out that it correctly measures from 2 MHz to 1260 MHz. Probably maybe more, but I did not have a signal with a higher frequency. It is necessary to secure the input with diodes. I used one of you (from the sixth leg)

It is best to buy an old SAT head, desolder a scalak and we have a prescaler for over 2GHz.
I got the MB506 in this way (or somehow). Catalog data can be found without any problem.
