Hello
The frosts and dubious pleasure of driving in a cold car have passed, but not quite. Now, when it is outside about 0 ° C I noticed that the maximum heating from the vents is at most summer air. What I was able to determine:
- T sensor temperature after heating is 90oC (checked in Forscan)
- you can see that the thermostat does not open too soon (cold radiator hose) on short routes, hot after a long time
- the fluid in the expansion tank is quite warm
- clean fluid, adequate level
- soft hoses, no bubbles in the expansion tank
- the most important: BOTH heater pipes inside the cabin (next to the passenger's legs) are hot (but I don't know if the hot one doesn't heat the other one because they are very close together)
Does this mean that the heater is clogged? I can't clean the system in the near future and I have a long way to go (650km). Can I safely apply any specific drug added to the fluid on an ad hoc basis to unlock the system and return the fluid normally when I return?
