    Hello.
Since I have many tabs that do not fit in the top row of the browser bar, I ask if anyone knows a plugin for Google Chrome that allows you to add a multi-line tab bar, which would be displayed in the same way as Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar Plus for Firefox - see appendix 1? I did not find such an option in the Chrome settings.
I will add right away that I am not interested in any plugins that allow you to create drop-down tabs, because I have the same effect after clicking the arrow on the right side of the browser bar, which displays a list of tabs that do not fit in one line of the browser bar - see attachment 2.
In other words, I would like all tabs to be visible simultaneously in one view of the multi-line bar, as in Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar Plus .
Paradoxically, the question is banal, but I could not find any plugin that works analogously to Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar Plus, except Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar . Unfortunately, this add-on has a big drawback, because it overlaps the top of the page field and cuts off all the content there, which makes it useless - see appendix 3.

@ re14sato - Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar is not working - see beginning of topic.
@Kolobos - and I replied that this add-on has a disqualification that disqualifies it, because the tab bar overlaps the top of the page field, cutting off all the content that is there. Otherwise, it would be quite ok.
    @Elektrodowicze - any ideas?

Don't you take into account that there is no such add-on?

@Kolobos - if I took this into account, I would not assume a topic, so let others comment. ;-)

There is no such add-on, because in Chrome with extensions you cannot interfere with the appearance of the browser interface as in Firefox.

Could you install Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar for Chrome and see if you can make the top of the page box not cut off on a two-level bar line?
I tried in the settings, but I did not find such an option, so maybe someone will succeed?
Ps. It's hard to believe that the Creator of the add-on would not have foreseen such an option ...

No matter what the creator predicted, important what the authors of the browser allow.
Chrome is not Firefox where you can change almost anything. You want to have bookmarks then use Firefox.

I still do not know, after you continue this thread, everything has already been explained in the previous one.

@Kolobos - you took the trouble to install Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar for Chrome and checked whether it was possible to do so that the top part of the page field would not be cut off at the two-level line of the bar, since you are grabbing such a sure thing?
I will be grateful if you let others comment.

Of course, especially for you I added this extension to chrome, then I imported the bookmarks and checked it. The bar covers the page when it is visible, but it hides itself, so I do not know what it bothers you.

Will you finally acknowledge that you CANNOT do it in chrome otherwise than you have now?

In addition, I do not forbid anyone to comment, others wrote to you the same as already written in the previous thread and it still has not reached you.

@Kolobos - this is where it bothers me, that the strip covers the page when it is visible. Were it not for this drawback - the add-on would be ok, hence the search for an extension that would be devoid of this drawback.
As for using Firefox, yes - it's my primary browser, but I had a situation in my former job that it was incompatible with a certain application, so I had to stick to Chrome and hence the inspiration to find an add-on.

Hi, I've been looking for something like that on Chrome for a long time and I have something like this:
    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dcckkbjlhigedglildibmgomeannjaid
except that it's a bit of a shame because after installing this extension, the scroll bar does not appear on the side, which annoys me because I have a lot of favorite tabs and I need to see them in one place, then I know what I want to do when I have my favorite ones in view

@Jopeczek - I installed this add-on and it turned out that only website icons in the form of tabs are available, without the possibility of adding a name - see photo. Google Chrome - How to display all tabs on the top row of the bar?
In addition, these icons are so densely packed with each other that they blend together, and in the settings I did not find an option that would allow me to extend them. Any ideas?

Hello, I have installed the Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar extension for Chrome and I have a problem.
Namely, what do I have to do to make this bar appear in Chrome?
The second thing, if you manage to make this bar visible, what should I do to have web page icons on the bar as I want?

Ok, I've already figured out what's going on. In order for Chrome, having the Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar plugin for Chrome, these tabs appear in the line below the entered web address, simply press the star in the bar and enter the website address (at the end on the right) and Add a page to bookmarks.
Then this page will appear on this line below the www address.

I solved the problem by adding thematic folders with favorite tabs, e.g. in the Shopping folder there is a list of websites that I use. It is very convenient and saves a lot of space, so everything fits in one line of the browser bar. ;-)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenge of displaying multiple tabs simultaneously in Google Chrome, similar to the Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar Plus extension available in Firefox. The original poster seeks a Chrome plugin that allows for a multi-line tab bar, expressing dissatisfaction with existing solutions that only provide drop-down menus for overflow tabs. Responses suggest checking Chrome flags and mention the Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar extension, which unfortunately does not meet the user's needs due to interface issues. Participants note that Chrome's architecture limits customization compared to Firefox, leading to frustration over the lack of suitable extensions. Some users propose organizing bookmarks into thematic folders as a workaround to manage space effectively.
