Hello. I plan to buy a tablet that serves only as a navigation device. The budget is up to PLN 500. The program I will use is probably iGO. I'm flying a truck after the EU. As for the size, it's probably 7 inches, but I think that bigger would not disturb me. Do you know any equipment worth recommending?

From what I remember, more than 7 inches is forbidden to navigate.

I've heard about it too, but it's hard, I can take this risk. They usually do not pick on such crap.

I am looking for a good type of navigation for trucks on Europe, I think about the phone plus maps and for this supports the laptop jack with a GPS receiver only I do not know which GPS receiver to choose for asus laptop. In cars, permanently mounted tom tom 5000 I 6000, but terribly silted with maps from 2 years ago, it is a pity that so few drivers write here. Every valuable advice.
    Greetings.

With good and cheap tablets, recently drivers bought the Lenovo Tab2 A7-10F at Carrefour in the promotion.

this tablet has android system 4 (they do not work well) and besides, there is nowhere to know if such tablet has any GPS and should have GPS, glonass and preferably this new European navigation system. why do I need a device which is a normal tablet. as for me, throwing 300 zlotys into the basket. Maybe some serious suggestions, and not the Lord working in the carfura? Professional drivers do not speak because they work hard :)

I have a Lenovo TAB 2 A7-30H and I use it to navigate the OpenStreetMap application. Although it was running on android 4, I did not complain.

    Did Google fail?

For this TV tuner DVB-T and should cost up to 500 PLN? What else should he do: tie tie? ;-)
Maybe more "serious expectations" in this price range!

I bought Lenovo tablet in Media Expert (I will probably find out that I'm working in this store) and I think it was a good purchase and it was just made for navigation.
I am a driver, and I speak because I have a weekend pause (even drivers sometimes rest - of course hard) ;-)

    PS.
I've uploaded a system for the TAB 2 A7-30HC model and I can use it as a phone. Android system version 5.0.1
The price is about PLN 400.
    I recommend this model (Lenovo TAB 2 A7-30H / TAB 2 A7-30HC)

Thanks. And how about a battery? It does not heat up too much when it is used - it does not disturb the GPS signal? I'm not talking about multimedia, the tablet will be used only for navigation, so I'd like it to have the best GPS gononass I Galileo receiver. Do these maps from the store for android systems - Tom volume have the same coverage And are the same maps that mount in devices such as tomtom6000 truck? Can you buy them somewhere in the google play store? I rode on the tomtom 5000 I 6000 map cool but the device is some kind of defeat. Navigation manufacturers have us behind. That the 2-year tomtom for the 2000-body map during magnification is a mockery. 800 mhz processors or something similar. I know for you more since it only makes you know, but time does show that a few-core process, and a large amount of the stock in the store are getting used. On the phone, zooming the map, location, calculating the route takes a moment and tom tom uuuu ... And it is a 2-year phone loaded with data. Therefore, the decision to buy a tablet. Only needs a decent maximum of 8.9 inches. Where are you standing at this pause? greetings

I have not noticed the problems you are asking about. The problem of interference during charging is rather I would attribute the low-quality charger.
TomTom I do not know - I will not say it.
I have been using OsmAnd on Android for a few years, I got used to it and it's the "classic" map view that suits me.
Here is the description / review of OsmAnd: http://www.komputerswiat.pl/poradniki/program...5/06/osmand-nawigacja-offline-za-granica.aspx
The tablets I wrote about have 1GB of frame and I suspect that when working with large map files they can be cut. And the maps are growing more and more !!!

Recently I have been working close to home, we are building the "seven" - the section near Ostróda. At 15:00 to work for 4 hours. You have to carry the equipment because the asphalt guys are laying down. So the "break" will be "interrupted" ;-)

Topic summary

Participants highlight the importance of GPS functionality, with recommendations leaning towards the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10F and Lenovo TAB 2 A7-30H models, both of which are noted for their adequate performance in navigation despite running older Android versions. Concerns about the legality of using larger tablets for navigation and the quality of GPS receivers are also raised.
