MapFactor navigator - you can set the axle load, gross weight, maximum speed.
You can define your own types of vehicles with different parameters.
It works with OSM maps where errors sometimes occur, but not very often. This error can be corrected yourself on the website: link (for everyone's benefit).
The next update gets an improved map.
I've been using it for 3 years, but only in a passenger car.
    Tested in:
Poland, Slovakia, Montenegro, BiH, Austria, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary.

What do you often want to update (and what do you mean by "often") on a radius of 70 km - you build highways and are you afraid of getting lost?

It is difficult to count on such amendments even in commercial solutions. AutoMapa is able to introduce me in a 50th-century city by an earth embankment with a height of 4m, because no one for many years has not corrected that the last two numbers are going from the side.

AutoMapa is not updated frequently. If it spreads to new homes or addresses. Here, unfortunately, Google works better. For this service voice.

This is the cool e OSM maps that these maps are created and updated by volunteers, that is, everyone can apply such corrections, add a house number, change the organization of traffic, just want to. I applied the corrections myself several times. Even if they are not perfect, we can contribute to their improvement.
I also use it quite often on a bike - Google maps do not show even half of the forest paths compared to MapFactor and OSM.

Buddy, but what you're asking about is ruled out. It's like asking about the best free food in the restaurant. You expect a professional application program and you look at free solutions. That is not possible. Someone has done something nice and wants to make money from it. If you want to have maps with good coverage, limitations on the load capacity of bridges, etc., get interested in purchasing iGo Primo. If you prefer to undo, reverse, combine, you can use google maps, mapfactor, osm and other similar.

Buddy, I understand your situation but you will not jump past some things. My suggestion for you is to install the maps mentioned by your predecessors in the navigation system, and enable the internet package on the phone and use Google Maps or other maps (often there are trial versions for 7 days, etc.). Then simply compare routes or address locations. You will at least know more or less what and how.

You know how to say it with a lot of glass, you will not podetrzesz. And with a few trips a day, you spend more on fuel than on a navigation program. Is a lifetime or annual license.
But in your case, when you get to new addresses, free Google will be good. The rest can always be protested on trial versions. And it's best for two devices to know how it looks in practice.
You still have HERE WeGo for free.
Enter the navigation in the Play store if you have an android, and you'll find a lot of items.

Topic summary

✨ The discussion centers around recommendations for free navigation applications suitable for trucks over 3.5T in Poland. Users suggest MapFactor Navigator, which allows customization of vehicle parameters such as axle load and gross weight, utilizing OpenStreetMap (OSM) maps that can be updated by users. Concerns are raised about the accuracy of navigation systems, particularly regarding new addresses and construction. AutoMapa is mentioned as a paid alternative, but its update frequency is criticized. Other suggestions include using Google Maps and HERE WeGo, with advice to compare routes using trial versions of various applications. The importance of having reliable navigation for locating addresses, especially in urban areas, is emphasized.

FAQ

TL;DR: Best free Android pick: MapFactor Navigator—“you can set the axle load, gross weight, maximum speed”; one driver reports 3 years’ use. Use Google for tricky addresses, then cross-check. [Elektroda, Flesz, post #16676063]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps Poland-based 3.5T+ drivers pick workable free nav apps, set truck parameters, and avoid bad routing.

Quick Facts

What’s the best free Android navigation for trucks (3.5T+) in Poland?

MapFactor Navigator stands out. It lets you set axle load, gross weight, and max speed, and define custom truck profiles. It runs on OpenStreetMap data, which you can help improve. Many users pair it with Google for address lookup. [Elektroda, Flesz, post #16676063]

Does Google Maps handle truck parameters like axle load?

Drivers in the thread use Google for finding new house numbers and for voice guidance, then verify the route in a truck-aware app. That workflow compensates for missing truck parameters in Google. “Google works better” for new homes, per one driver. [Elektroda, kkknc, post #16677980]

How accurate are OSM-based apps like MapFactor for heavy vehicles?

They’re generally reliable, but occasional errors occur. The advantage is you can correct issues yourself on OpenStreetMap and receive improved maps with the next update. Community edits make truck data better over time. [Elektroda, Flesz, post #16676063]

I drive within 70 km of base—do I still need frequent updates?

Local routing changes and new addresses still matter. Even paid maps can misroute; one driver reported being sent over an earth embankment in a city. Keep apps updated and cross-check destinations. [Elektroda, marek216, post #16676806]

Is AutoMapa good for trucks today?

Experiences vary. One driver said AutoMapa misrouted across a 4 m embankment, showing that even commercial maps can fail. Use it only if you verify critical segments for heavy vehicles. [Elektroda, marek216, post #16676806]

Why consider a paid app like iGO Primo for trucking?

Paid suites include richer truck attributes such as bridge load limits. As one user put it, “If you want maps with good coverage… get interested in purchasing iGO Primo.” Free apps rarely match that depth. [Elektroda, japycz321, post #16681012]

How do I fix a wrong address or restriction in the map?

Use this 3-step OSM workflow: 1. Open OpenStreetMap and sign in. 2. Edit the road, house number, or restriction. 3. Save; updates flow into the next map release. “Everyone can apply such corrections.” [Elektroda, Flesz, post #16676063]

Do I need offline maps, or is online OK for short-haul work?

Online is fine if coverage is reliable. One suggestion: enable mobile data and compare Google with your truck-aware app or use trial periods. This double-check helps at unfamiliar addresses. [Elektroda, japycz321, post #16683735]

Can I run something on my old Windows CE navigation unit?

Yes, but you will likely need paid software compatible with Windows CE. A driver recommended iGO Primo when you need robust truck attributes and coverage. [Elektroda, japycz321, post #16681012]

What free alternatives should I test besides MapFactor?

Try HERE WeGo and Google Maps. Install several on Android, compare routes to new addresses, and keep one as a backup device. [Elektroda, kkknc, post #16683762]

How should I handle addresses like 115A/115C that route differently for trucks?

Search the exact house number in Google first to pinpoint the entrance, then confirm the path in your truck-aware app. Comparing two apps reduces turnarounds with tippers. [Elektroda, japycz321, post #16683735]

Are frequent updates really better than stable maps?

For new estates, frequent updates help find fresh house numbers. A user noted Google outpaced AutoMapa for new homes and voice guidance, which can save time and fuel. [Elektroda, kkknc, post #16677980]
