Hello, I am looking for advice on buying an interface for Japanese cars. I would like something quite cheap, I have a few interfaces from China and I'm happy with them (starr diagnosis, lexia, ds 150e) and I can't find something for Japanese brands.
Maybe someone will share their recommendations for this type of equipment. If anyone has an interesting proposal for a different interface (not necessarily for Japanese cars) from a similar source, please help. Thanks in advance

You will not find a universal one, also tried once. Tactrix (Mitsubishi and Subaru) is a bit overwhelming, there is Consult for Nissan, Toyota has something else ... But when it comes to universal, it's hard to find something better than DS150E.

The problem is that the interfaces you send are universal for all brands. And I care about something that only Japanese or mainly Japanese do. But thanks for your help, I'll check.

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

And something for individual brands ?? i.e. 1 for Toyota 1 for Mazda etc.

I have not yet come across an interface that is strictly for Japanese brands. And if it is rather hard to find a clone, the original will remain for a dozen or so thousand. Tactrix is just a product from the USA, I know that Mitsubishi is overwhelmed (at least the new ones, I don't know about the older ones - but you will find information mainly about the Evo) and something from Subaru too - but I do not know to what extent. And an important thing - in this case only the original. Clones are too risky.

By the way, why should it be like that? If you want to make Japanese, buy one for each brand and the problem is solved. Rather, you will do much more than universal.

Thanks for all the answers. After thinking about it, I will probably start stocking up on individual ones. So I have one more question, what is interesting for Toyota, Mazda and Hyundai & Kia (I think there is one for these 2)

For Mazda, if I remember correctly, there is IDS, for Toyota there is GTS and you can read the rest on Google ;) There are probably 3 versions of Consulta for Nissan, but here Google will be your friend. The equipment is not very popular (at least among the mechanics I talked to and they do Japanese), but I will try to ask who has for such cars. Although I shoot, they rather use universal Launch, KTS or other such ...

The discussion revolves around finding affordable diagnostic interfaces specifically for Japanese cars. The user expresses satisfaction with existing Chinese interfaces like DS150E but seeks recommendations for Japanese brands. Responses indicate that universal interfaces are limited, with suggestions for brand-specific tools such as Tactrix for Mitsubishi and Subaru, and Consult for Nissan.
