Hello. Some time ago I exchanged my friend fullset (lenovo k6 note) by mounting T-7000 glue. It worked correctly. After a week, the friend broke the glass again. I ordered another set (from the same person), unfortunately the touch goes crazy as it wants. With the next display it was better but sometimes it was broken. The next three sets I immediately returned - the same.

A month ago I exchanged the whole set in another k6 note. Every few days you had to do a reset (hold power long) because the touch stopped working and worked only after the restart. I installed another new set - it helped.

Today another k6 note. Three new sets - before assembly, the touch works correctly. T-7000 glue only gently at the bottom and top so that the glue does not touch the tapes. I'll just press the set against the frame - the touch doesn't work.

Another today's patient - lenovo k5 A6020a40. The old set came out without damaging the glue. I decided to mount it on the old glue because another glue will touch the tapes - after folding the touch goes crazy as in k6 note. I don't press anything and after unlocking the touch goes crazy.

My observations show that both models have a 3mk tape at the top and bottom and a thin layer of silicone on the sides.

Have you met with such a thing? Can you touch the touch tape with a kapton as much as possible? or before assembly apply T-7000 glue to the whole frame (isolate from the frame and then paste on 3mk?

I would bet on any problems with the current sets. Some time ago I had 4 pieces of K6 Note and over 2 weeks various problems.

    1. The first copy - black - the set is replaced with one of the cheaper ones - no problems with the operation for a short time and after pasting on the T7000 (not somehow regreting the tapes, but not pouring the tape, although the total glue * should * be neutral here).
    2. The second copy - gold - ordered the same touch for replacement, glued with LCD and stuck to the frame on the T7000 - zero problems.
    3. Third - black - damaged LCD so ordered a set from the same warehouse as the first, about a week after the first. The effect is that even for short hooks without pasting it works perfectly until the screen goes blank. After blanking the screen and waking up again, the touch did not work at all until the phone was restarted, where it again worked to blank the screen. It didn't matter if the screen was blanked off, whether it blanked itself or, for example, by a proximity sensor during the connection. Just after extinguishing the touch stopped working. On the second disc (from 2) the effect was the same. No fun with disabling the lock code or changing it to another one did not help. I sent the set and it was replaced with another one - still the same. I downloaded another one from another supplier - the same problem. In total, these sets were checked on 3 different boards. Ultimately, I ordered the same touches - in total the cheapest that could be found in black and stuck with a recovered LCD from a set with broken glass bought for some pennies - it worked without problems, stuck on T7000. Certainly the problem was not the display because the touch itself from one of these sets was shortly connected to the phone with the original LCD connected behaving the same. I did not check exactly what versions of the software were in the phone, but all were rather up to date.
    4. The fourth - gold - came with a working LCD - replacement of the same touch, zero problems, also pasted on T7000.

In the end I came to the conclusion that there had to be some bad party and I just exchanged the touches in what I had. You can also see that some touches and sets gently differ from each other just made a different touch tape. I would check if you have the option to change the firmware to the older or the oldest something. I would also check if the LCD is thicker or curved. Recently I came to Z3 where the set worked for a short time, but after pasting it started to go crazy in the middle. Probably, after pasting, the touch bends slightly sticking to the top and bottom of the frame.

I am also currently fighting K5. The set that I got does not work at all and the 2 new touches work practically only in the upper right corner + function keys (test for a short time), sometimes they choose something themselves, the bottom does not respond at all. The touch after gluing behaves the same (stuck for a test because some do not like the test "in the air") so probably again some trashy party. The old touch, even when separated from the LCD, works everywhere.

Lenovo k6 friend note - lcd buttons work. But for the touch to work, you have to hold your finger anywhere and operate with the other. when releasing the first finger - the touch does not work. On the other hand, when I keep touching the screen with one finger, the LCD buttons do not work. After restoring factory settings, it returned to normal. Just interesting for how long: /

Lenovo k5 have you tried to restore factory settings? If I have the client's permission to do so, I will mount a new lcd to the k5 and connect the old touch to only perform a reset (the old set has a cracked lcd and touch but this touch works fine - just like yours). And after confirming the reset I will put the tape in again. Maybe it will help: /

For me, none of the sets for the K6 Note did not behave so that with one finger on the other you could do something. I remember that I checked it out of pure curiosity. In my opinion, just a faulty batch appeared although with this model the circuses that you describe were already. I just had this strange problem with a lack of reaction, any, to the touch after turning off and re-waking the screen. Assemble this sense, so I don't know if any additional problems would come out later.

I didn't do a reset in K5. The customer has the data, the old, original touch works without such circuses, so what came next or not to this version (maybe the touches are not compatible between the variants and those that I got are for another version) or it is just a shit.

As for the k6 note with a non-working touch, the problem is "solved" I do not remember what this function is called, but it is about turning the screen on by double tap. When enabled, the touch works all the time.

It also helps disabling phone encryption and lock codes.

I came across a seller who had working parts. Unfortunately, many sells were released for k6 note and k5.
