Hello, like in the subject. I am thinking about one of these cameras. The girl was always interested in photography, but she never had a decent camera. I would like to give her something to learn and develop. I read a little and found two models for beginners. What do you think about them which is better? Or maybe you have your suggestions?

    Regards

Hello, currently the D5300 does not make sense as there is cashback on the D5600 and after returning the camera costs PLN 2100, as for Canon it is a very nice camera but I think that Nikon is better.
You have to take into account the lenses, which is more important, both systems have interesting, modern and cheap AF-P models in Nikon, Canon STM kit, 18-55 kits have better Nikon, just like the great 18-105, 1.8 is cheaper in Canon / 50mm but the Nikon is 1.8 / 35, there is also a great telephoto lens in Nikon now, too, cashback comes out cheaply cheap, and there is a pretty good 10-20mm wide etc.

From what I see cheaper with us, you need to buy in a store participating in the action, for example, abfoto has good prices and is in Nikon action, after purchase you complete the application and after two weeks the money comes back to your account.

Do not do this to the end of the surprise because if he feels emotionally attached to some system he will not be happy with the other.
If interest is to go in the direction of professionalism is SLR. Otherwise, it is worth considering mirrorless cameras. Then look at Sony, Canon and Fuji.
If this is not such a general photographing of views and family gatherings, but something more specific, it may turn out that the standard zoom (kit) will be in the drawer and you have to pay for it. Maybe it is worth thinking about a specialist lens for macro photography, ...
When it comes to basic or slightly more advanced Canon and Nikon SLRs there is no gap. Nikon shows a little better and in Canon it is a bit easier to start if we want to buy some fixed focal length lenses.

I don't know how to nikon but canon has had nice amateur STM lenses for several years. personally, I recommend 18-135 and 55-250. With these two lenses to start you can already have a lot of effect.

These Canon budgets are qualitatively average, Nikon tried very well with these new ones, AF-P is a stepper motor, quiet and fast, to the extent that these lenses often win over professional lenses but of course the latter usually have better sharpness and are clear.
The prices are surprisingly good for a Nikon, for this there is a cachback and for example now the new 1.8 / 50 comes out PLN 700, AF-P 70-300VR comes out PLN 560 !!, kit AF-P 18-55VR I bought a new grade for PLN 190, UWA or AF -P 10-20VR cost PLN 1300, I don't know how now, 18-105VR used for this, even for PLN 450 I see.
