    These are 2017 models.
Panas and Sony are interesting, because on a VA matrix and with a good liquefier.

LG (IPS) and Philips (VA) stand out from the others.

I was in the store today and I was recommended this Panasonic TX-65EX610E and I only liked this operating system, it seemed rather crude. Maybe somebody had some experience with him?

Panas has an outdated Smart system.
This TV defends the quality of the picture but certainly not the system.

If you need goodies, take TCL, unfortunately you will also get poor image quality and no liquids.

A little humility for their knowledge!

I think we have already established it sometime ....

I always write as I think.
YOU follow the opinions of others.

I just like to have my own opinion about the product. Even if journalists would give a TV a thousand awards and the picture is weak for me, I will continue to hold my opinion that it is weak. That's just how I am ...
I respect other people's opinions but I don't take them as revealed truth.

Damn this TCL somehow does not appeal to me. I have an appointment on Tuesday and they have to download a few more TV models at this price and then maybe I will choose something.

FAQ

TL;DR: Tizen 4.0 and "2018 models will be supported by smart TV for longer"—prioritize 2018 65-inch sets with current OS for streaming and gaming. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375219]

Why it matters: This helps buyers lock in reliable Netflix/YouTube and console-ready performance without overpaying or picking outdated platforms.

Quick Facts

What 65-inch TV under 4,500 PLN got the nod in this thread?

A contributor spotlighted Samsung UE65NU7172 (2018) and pointed to ~4,000 PLN offers. He also called 2017 Sony and Panasonic VA models interesting for motion. That positions the Samsung as a strong 2018-value target within this budget. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375087]

What do you get with TCL 65C7006 around 3,950 PLN?

You get a VA panel, JBL front speakers, Android 7.0 with memory, voice support, low input lag, and free movie apps. It was touted as a best price–quality LCD pick and has an aluminum finish. These features target streaming and gaming needs well. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17375321]

Are there caveats to TCL’s picture or motion?

Yes. One expert warned you trade features for weaker image quality and no motion “liquids” (interpolation). That can impact fast sports and camera pans. Consider this if smooth motion is your priority for matches or action films. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375638]

2017 vs 2018 TVs: what changes in practice?

For app longevity, favor 2018 models. “2018 models will be supported by smart tv for longer.” Samsung’s 2018 NU series ships with Tizen 4.0, which supports current apps. If you rely on YouTube or similar apps, 2018 sets are the safer bet. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375219]

Does Samsung NU series cover Netflix, YouTube, and app longevity?

Yes. The NU line uses Tizen 4.0 and should receive Smart TV support longer than 2017 lines. That aligns with dependable access to Netflix and YouTube over time. Choose it if you want a stable streaming platform. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375219]

Are matte/anti-glare screens still available?

No. “There are no more matt matrices.” Plan placement and lighting, or prioritize models noted for stronger anti-reflection instead. Bright rooms may need careful mounting and curtains or blinds to reduce reflections. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375031]

How does Panasonic TX-65EX610E stack up?

It offers good picture quality but uses an outdated Smart platform. Pick it if image matters most and add a streaming device for modern apps. This balances picture-first preferences with flexible app support. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375638]

Sony KD-65XE7096, LG 65UJ701V, Philips 65PUS6412—any quick guidance?

They are 2017 models. A poster praised Sony and Panasonic for VA panels and good motion smoothing. He contrasted LG (IPS) and Philips (VA) as different from those picks, suggesting varied panel priorities. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375087]

Any Ambilight options near this budget?

Yes, but slightly above 4,500 PLN. Philips 65PUS7303 and 65PUS7502 were cited at 4,999 PLN, and TCL 65X2 at 5,199 PLN. These add ambience and premium features if you can stretch. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17377255]

Can MediaExpert arrange in-store demos of specific models?

Yes. The thread’s buyer scheduled a visit and the store agreed to bring in several models at this price. Ask your branch to do the same for a side-by-side. [Elektroda, misieq92, post #17376409]

Is low input lag available at this price for PS4 gaming?

Yes. TCL 65C7006 was flagged for low input lag, plus Android and JBL audio. That makes it appealing for console gaming within a value budget. Enable Game Mode to minimize lag. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17375321]

Which panel type suits straight-on viewing?

A contributor favored VA-panel Sony and Panasonic for contrast and motion when viewing head-on. He contrasted LG’s IPS approach. If you sit centered, VA often fits well. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375087]

Will YouTube/Netflix on 2017 TVs lose support sooner?

Likely. The advice was to pick 2018 models because they will receive Smart TV support longer. That directly affects apps like YouTube over time. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375219]

If I care only about picture quality, not Smart, what should I pick?

Try Panasonic TX-65EX610E. As one expert said, “This TV defends the quality of the picture but certainly not the system.” Add a streaming stick for modern apps. [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17375638]

What budget does this thread target?

4,000–4,500 PLN for a 65-inch TV with Netflix, YouTube, and future PS4 use. The use case included ~5 hours daily viewing, straight-on seating, and wall mounting. [Elektroda, misieq92, post #17374947]

Is 65 inches appropriate for a 5.5–6 m viewing distance?

The thread’s buyer chose 65 inches for 5.5–6 m seating. If you share that layout, 65 inches matches the original preference and constraints. [Elektroda, misieq92, post #17374947]
