    Hello.
I have a dishwasher Indesit DSG 5741 NX A + - the dishwasher is about 2 years old. She refused to obey yesterday, stopped taking water. I cleaned the filter on the water (there was a lot of stone there), but it did not help. After starting the program, the dishwasher should take up water and start washing, but now you can hear the programmer's beeping (it should now take water) and after about two minutes the washing icon starts to squeak and flash (normally it only shines constantly). So left the dishwasher for a few minutes displays error F6 and tries to pump out the water, but I think this is due to the previous error and not started the washing cycle (lack of water). Interestingly, after manually pouring water into the dishwasher before the moment of "squeaking", the dishwasher normally starts the washing cycle - it gives pressure.

Has anyone met with something like that? I bet on a clogged water supply valve - here where the cold water filter (inlet) is located, because I cleaned the filter itself, but there are 4 tiny holes, smaller than the needle, and maybe it is further or the valve in the depth has been blocked. I understand that a hose with a valve is an element that can not be removed? What to do, how to clean it / disassemble it from the dishwasher.

I add videos for a better picture of the situation.

    Thanks for the answer :)
Well, the case is taking place on the water hose. From what you wrote to give the dishwasher on the back and remove the side of the dishwasher? The hose is on the back of the case, there is a small flap, but she reluctantly wants to go down. So if I have access to this snake, why take off the side? I am asking for aological explanation of how to dismount the hose, because from what I see the back is firmly built up and has no access to it.

Today, I have undressed the dishwasher. I unplugged the cables from the solenoid valve (the aquastop hose) and from the flood control sensor on the bottom cover. I tried to measure the resistance of this valve which is in the aquastop pipe, unfortunately the multimeter did not indicate any changes, ie no signs on the multimeter when you touch the plaques in the ankle. I did not give directly to the 230V valve (I was a bit afraid - no conditions, long wires, etc.), only out of curiosity of 12V, but I know there is no reaction. I am willing to change the aquastop tube and possibly check if it changes something, only I understand that it must be the original part? No universal / cheap aquastop tubes will match?

The dishwasher works, the hose with aquastop turned out to be faulty. Thanks. Now the question to you: I have a lot of shit - the stone in the pipes, are there any inexpensive solutions, filters that cleanse the dishwasher's water?

I found something like this: https://allegro.pl/filtr-pralkowy-zmywarkowy-zmiekczacz-na-kamien-i5163730096.html. Probably there is a factory sponge there, protecting against the passage of a gradually dissolved bed. I would add a filtration fleece from inside. You think that it will pass the exam, or there may be other finished products that meet the above functions?

I just have a similar problem, except that I don't get a mistake, just a dishwasher. After a while, it stops as if it were taking water. Then it beeps again, as if the program was shortening. However, today after it blew it turned off. Is it worth following this valve?

First, the dishwasher pumps out the water, then activates the Aquastop valve. You need to touch the valve and you will feel the vibration of the solenoid valve. If so, that's half the battle. Turn off the water, unscrew the Aquastop and clean the filters.

If, despite this, water is still not drawn in, dismantle the hose, connect it to the water and supply voltage to the Aquastop. The end of the lagoon pipe and water must flow. If it does not fly, replace the Aquastop hose.

I checked the valve shakes, I cleaned the sieves in the valve. And unfortunately it still squeaks. It pumps out the water, then switches on the valve, you can hear the water going and the cycle of pecks from 15 seconds then stops and the cycle goes on.
But the strangest thing is that giving program 3 lasting like 60 minutes ends in 25 minutes. And beeping occurred three times during this time. The heater in the dishwasher does not heat the water because after the program, as normal, the dishwasher opened and steam was falling, so now they are cold.

Well, check the heater resistance and whether the voltage goes to the heater.

And what can cause that it shortens this program?

What else can be cleaned? Are there any water outlet filters still inside?

I had a case that the short circuit caused the carbon monoxide to zero.

I called a service technician, I will not do anything. If it was the snake yet, I would think about spinning, and it spins like that and nobody will want to fix it when there is a tear in the middle.
    I will write what was.

Topic summary

✨ The Indesit DSG 5741 NX dishwasher is experiencing issues with water drainage and starting cycles, displaying error F6, which indicates a water sampling error. Users suggest checking the solenoid valve and the water inlet hose for clogs or faults. The aquastop hose may need replacement if it fails to respond to voltage tests. One user successfully resolved the issue by replacing the faulty aquastop hose, while others discuss potential solutions for water quality issues, such as filters to prevent mineral buildup. Additional troubleshooting steps include checking the heater resistance and ensuring proper voltage supply to the components.

FAQ

TL;DR: Indesit DSG 5741 NX not filling? Apply 230V to test the Aquastop valve; "f6 - water sampling error." If no hum/flow, replace the hose/valve. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17398725]

Why it matters: For DIY owners and appliance techs, this FAQ speeds up diagnosing no‑fill, beeping, F6, or early‑ending cycles on Indesit dishwashers.

Quick Facts

What does error F6 mean and what typically causes it?

F6 means a water intake fault. The control calls for fill, but the valve does not admit water. Check the Aquastop solenoid coil for continuity. Then bench‑test the hose by powering the valve at 230V. If it neither hums nor opens, replace the Aquastop hose. “f6 - water sampling error.” [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17398725]

How do I test the Aquastop inlet valve safely?

Do a quick bench test. 1) Remove the hose and connect its tap end to a water source. 2) Apply 230V to the valve coil. 3) Confirm strong, continuous flow from the outlet. If there’s no flow while energized, replace the Aquastop hose. “You need to touch the valve and you will feel the vibration.” [Elektroda, qwazarpl, post #18192541]

How do I access and remove the Aquastop hose on this Indesit?

Pull the dishwasher out of the recess. Remove the left side panel to reach the water jacket and hose. Tip the machine on its back and unclip the plastic bottom tray. Unplug the float flood‑sensor cable or remove the sensor for working room. Unplug the inlet hose wiring and remove the hose. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17399298]

It beeps, flashes, and shows F6 about two minutes after start. What does that indicate?

This pattern indicates failed water intake. The machine beeps while it should fill, flashes, then after about two minutes shows F6 and tries to drain. If you pour water manually, it will wash, which points back to the inlet path or Aquastop. [Elektroda, domcio181, post #17396708]

The valve vibrates but water still doesn’t flow enough. What should I check next?

Shut off water, unscrew the Aquastop from the tap, and clean the inlet sieves. If the dishwasher still won’t fill, dismantle the hose, connect it to water, and power the valve. Water must flow at the outlet when energized. If not, replace the Aquastop hose. [Elektroda, qwazarpl, post #18192541]

My multimeter shows an open circuit on the Aquastop coil. What next?

An open coil cannot actuate the valve. Replace the entire Aquastop hose assembly. Users reported restored operation immediately after swapping the failed hose with a new Aquastop. [Elektroda, domcio181, post #17415523]

Can I use a non‑original Aquastop hose, or must it be OEM?

You can fit a compatible Aquastop hose. It may require re‑terminating the plug or twisting and insulating the wires. Several universal or alternate hoses work and cost less than OEM options. “Everything will come.” [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17403112]

Is it normal for the dishwasher to drain first before filling?

Yes. “First, the dishwasher pumps out the water, then activates the Aquastop valve.” Feeling the valve vibrate after the initial drain confirms the coil is being energized. [Elektroda, qwazarpl, post #18192541]

My 60‑minute program finishes in about 25 minutes and dishes are cold. What does it mean?

That shortened cycle, with no steam at the end, indicates the heater did not heat the water. The beeps during the program reinforce a fault condition. This behavior is abnormal and requires heater circuit diagnosis or service. [Elektroda, Jerzy689, post #18193046]

How do I diagnose no heat in this dishwasher?

Measure the heater resistance with a multimeter and verify that the control supplies voltage to the heater during the cycle. A failed heater or missing supply will prevent heating and can shorten programs. “Well, check the heater resistance and whether the voltage goes to the heater.” [Elektroda, qwazarpl, post #18193165]

Where are the inlet filters, and how do I clean them?

Turn off the water. Unscrew the Aquastop from the tap and clean the small sieves in the valve. Reassemble and test. If the machine still won’t fill, bench‑test the hose and replace it if there’s no flow under power. [Elektroda, qwazarpl, post #18192541]

What solenoid reading should I expect from the Aquastop coil?

You should see continuity, not an open circuit. An open coil means the valve cannot actuate. If uncertain, confirm by powering the coil at 230V; lack of hum or opening indicates replacement is needed. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17398725]

What is the float flood sensor on the bottom, and how should I handle it?

The bottom tray has a flood float sensor with a cable. During access, disconnect its wires or remove the entire sensor to avoid straining it. Refit correctly when reassembling. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17399298]

Should I attempt 230V tests if I’m not experienced?

If you lack proper tools or confidence, call a service technician. “If you do not get it, call the service. Pity the dishwasher and your nerves.” Safety and preventing cabinet damage come first. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17399298]

Where should I ask about adding anti‑scale filters for hard water?

The appliance pros in this thread recommend seeking advice on a dedicated water‑treatment or plumbing forum. This forum focuses on appliance repair and diagnostics. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17416356]

Edge case: the valve hums but the hose may be torn inside. Should I repair it?

Do not attempt to repair a torn Aquastop hose. Internal damage can persist despite vibration. Have a technician replace the hose assembly, since “nobody will want to fix it when there is a tear in the middle.” [Elektroda, Jerzy689, post #18194097]
