    Hello.
I have been struggling with the Indesit DSG 573 dishwasher for a long time, the point is that after loading the dishwasher, throwing in the tablet, the process begins: it pumps water, draws new water and silence ... It should start washing, it should turn on the washing pump, but this is not the case It is happening. You can only hear how some relay and silence are activated, after pressing "pause" you can hear how the relay disconnects ...

At the beginning it was enough to press the "pause" button several times and it started without a problem, now it happens more often ... Sometimes you do not need to do anything because it works normally, and sometimes I stand at the dishwasher for 10 minutes by pressing "pause" and finally starts ... .
What could be the reason? Something serious and device replacement or a minor repair?

    1. It may be cold February on the relay to control the water pump.
    2. Damaged contact in the relay.
    3. Pump control circuit defective.
    4. Damaged cable harness from the controller to the pump.
These are the ideas to start with :D

    Hello,

I have exactly the same problem with the same dishwasher. Can you tell me what was the reason for you?
    PS.
I will answer my own question (maybe someone will use it ...)

At first I thought it was a relay, but in place of the washing pump I connected a 60W light bulb and at each start (pause - start, pause - start) the bulb was lit so the relay was initially excluded and the pump was removed.

I disassembled the pump into parts (I took out the coil, took off the heater, opened the pump body). After opening the pump body, I saw that everything was covered with fat (shit). I cleaned and turned everything back.

The pump rotor moved strangely after mounting in the housing - I don't know if it's normal or it's already damaged (damage to the "bearing", but I installed without replacing the parts (the pump is quite expensive, and the rotor has not been purchased yet). it is OK, pump suspension does not occur. If it turns out that it will be necessary to replace the impeller (pump), I will not fail to inform forum users ...

    Best regards.

Hello, I have the same symptoms. The pump starts after pressing start several times. Sometimes the sound is heard as if the impeller "caught" and I think I have to remove it ...
