Hello, as in the topic c3 1.4 hdi. The situation is as follows: In the city, it blocked the key several times, that it was impossible to remove it, but to turn it like that. I got home and started filming and it was hard. There is no way to turn to position 1. The key is not worked. I will add that of course the steering wheel is locked. From the bottom there is this kind of a screw with an oval head (maybe cut it and try to unscrew it?) And a pin from the top. What to do where to drill?

Why not try some lock lubricant first? Since the key is not in the ignition switch, it is worth trying.

Citroen C3 1.4 HDI 2005: Locked Ignition, Key Removal & Steering Wheel Lock Issues I've tried that too. We managed to remove this screw from the bottom. The whole lock is loose and it is probably only on this pin from the top.

    Added after 35 [minutes]:

Okay, we managed to remove the entire lock without the interference of the key. It was enough to unscrew the bolt from the bottom (I did it with a sharp chisel and a hammer), then from the top the bolt was pressed in as much as possible, then with a piece of the section into which it entered. All lock already ordered. Poor PLN 500 ? I leave the topic. It will be useful to some thief

It is a pity that the insert itself could not be replaced: - /

A good bet doesn't mean cheap. Still to be repaired, the locking mechanism including the steering lock, which broke when removing

    Welcome!
I am begging you, help me! I have exactly the same in my c3. I was able to remove the ignition switch, but I don't know how to get the cables out of it. I pried open the white plastic cover which has 2 black pins, but nothing will budge. I don't want to break: / I don't see how to get it anywhere on the net. Damn me right away. Help please!

    Greetings!

Gentlemen, help ... The car is standing, the ignition cannot be moved, in my opinion this steering lock holds and it is impossible to turn the key - can it be disconnected somehow? Is the only salvation a new ignition? :/

The lock does not hold, the ignition switch is removed after turning the key to the first position, it cannot be turned, you have to combine with pressing the pin on the top of the tube in which the ignition switch sits

Is there an easiest way to start repairing this ignition? It will not work without breaking the old one off?

Hello, does anyone have a diagram of these cables in this ignition switch? Which ones should I connect so that it starts without the ignition? I have five cables and two harnesses, one goes to the fuse box and the other is plugged into the cube under the steering wheel. I want to start it with a lever switch (which will turn on the ignition) and additionally with a starter (something like in a motorcycle). Thanks in advance if anyone is interested in the topic
