    Hello,

Can you power the latest Raspberry directly via the + 5V GPIO pins? I was a little googling and all that is true. I did that too and for a while it even worked until it stopped. However, I am not sure if the cause of the failure was elsewhere, so before I burn the next copy I prefer to ask. I will mention that RPi 3 B + has an advanced (?) Voltage regulator instead of the usual stabilizer.

By the way, and for the future - is the power supply directly via 3.3V GPIO at stake?

3.3V is created from 5V by a linear stabilizer.

RPi 3 B + has no stabilizer and some voltage regulator.

And I've already found the answer to my question. I was looking for an unknown where in Datasheet is black and white that can be powered by 5V GPIO:

    So I close the topic.
