    Hi all,

I have a problem with LG. Every switching on TV it goes from basic setup - channel search, language set, country set and so on...

I have tried to put a new firmware inside but it doesn't wanna accept it since newer version is inside tv - newer than LG support pages.

I suppose I could put new SPI & NAND inside,,,try with that....anyone has it?

    Model : LG 42LF561V
    Motherboard : EAX66203803 (1,2)
    Panel : LC420DUE (A4)

    Thanx in advance!

    :bye:

If you have a version lower than 03.05.37, you can try it. If not, then NAND to be replaced.

I know from experience that there will still be NAND to replace.

    Thank you.

Topic summary

LABEL_AI_GENERATED
LG 42LF561V TV repeatedly resets to the initial setup menu on every power-on, requiring channel search, language, and country selection again. A firmware update was attempted but rejected because the installed version was newer than the one available on LG support pages. The discussion points to a corrupted NAND/flash memory issue, with one solution being to load a compatible NAND file or replace the NAND chip; later replies note that if the firmware is below version 03.05.37 it may be tried, otherwise NAND replacement is required. A user reports the TV was fixed after uploading the provided NAND file.
