    Hi all,

I have a problem with LG. Every switching on TV it goes from basic setup - channel search, language set, country set and so on...

I have tried to put a new firmware inside but it doesn't wanna accept it since newer version is inside tv - newer than LG support pages.

I suppose I could put new SPI & NAND inside,,,try with that....anyone has it?

    Model : LG 42LF561V
    Motherboard : EAX66203803 (1,2)
    Panel : LC420DUE (A4)

    Thanx in advance!

    :bye:

If you have a version lower than 03.05.37, you can try it. If not, then NAND to be replaced.

I know from experience that there will still be NAND to replace.

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around an issue with the LG 42LF561V television, where the device resets to the basic setup (channel search, language, country) each time it is powered on. The user attempted to update the firmware but encountered difficulties as the TV already has a newer version than what is available on LG's support pages. They considered replacing the SPI and NAND components as a potential solution. A helpful response included sending a NAND file to the user, which was acknowledged with gratitude.
