[Solved] Steam Function Oven Recommendations: Samsung Chef Master, Electrolux 700, Bosch 4D Under PLN 2,500

Best answers

Which built-in oven with steam, at least one telescopic rail, a large capacity, a black elegant finish, hidden controls, and good insulation is worth buying for around PLN 2,500?

The clearest recommendation in the thread is the IKEA FINSMAKARE steam/pyrolysis built-in oven, chosen over similar Electrolux models because it looks much more aesthetic, has practically the same functions plus a higher maximum temperature, and includes a 5-year warranty [#18302308] It was also noted that IKEA’s cookers are made by Electrolux, so the user got an Electrolux-like oven in a nicer design [#18302308] Later feedback said the IKEA oven works very well and was 100% satisfactory, so it was recommended again as a good-looking alternative [#19418239][#19418242] On cleaning, one reply advised going with pyrolysis rather than steam cleaning, while another warned that very high pyrolysis temperatures can damage seals and even led to warranty returns [#18212096][#18213034][#18213279]

What oven do you recommend for installation, guidelines as below:
    - function of steam for baking
    -at least one telescopic ladder
    - fairly large capacity
    - aesthetic black finish with attention to detail - hidden knobs or sensor control (elegant backlight is an additional important asset)
    - it would be good if it had good insulation, because there will be a fridge on the side ...

price up to about PLN 2,500

I'm looking through the offer a bit and I'm leaning towards some Electrolux 700 series
Samsung cheff master or dual cook series I'm still considering Bosch 4D, but I don't see it with the steam function at this price

maybe someone faced a similar dilemma and can help me...

ix , I had the opportunity to see such an oven after self-cleaning several times, returned under warranty. Even the heat-resistant gasket could not withstand such high temperatures.
    Here's something about it:

I am also not convinced of this method of cleaning, I think that steam cleaning will be safer ... Although, on the other hand, in my case it may be worth the oven with this function, but not to use it, but I read that such an oven has better insulation heat, which I care about, because it will be next to the fridge ...

I deliberately chose a steam oven with pyrolysis. I don't know if I will use it yet. I'm just after the first roasting chicken legs at 180 degrees and the inside is clean. There wasn't even anything to clean. For me, steam-cleaned ovens are a mistake. Collecting this water with a sponge, smearing, etc. The main thing is not to use any strongly caustic chemicals for cleaning, because you can damage the coating, oven enamel. On the web you can find several described cases of how the oven enamel was destroyed by some means that were supposed to be gentle to the coating. Let everyone buy what they think is right. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages.

Oven in the post - next to the fridge, unfortunately, because that's how it turned out with the place ...

yes, preliminary market analysis suggests such models to me - what do you think about them, or any other versions, models, functions, etc...

    1. It seems to be a solid model, but the aesthetics are not yet ... are these knobs at least illuminated, or just paint???:

    2. quite aesthetic, but different opinions are circulating..

Well, I found opinions on the Internet, maybe it's the one that someone mentioned Samsung because it was bad ... that's why it turns out that its advantage is only that it is nice .... Bosch is also taken into account, but with the steam function it is over 3,000 in my budget it would be: BOSCH HBG634BB1 Serie 8 oven but without steam at this price I would have an electrolux with a steam, only visually for me it is the electrolux that is the weakest ....
or maybe amica - they look aesthetically pleasing, lots of functions, someone just complained somewhere about weak telescopes...

ixs , consider the sink and this faucet. It's best if you look at the set in the store and see how and whether both elements are functional in this set.

I take the sink and batteries only to reach the discount, I would prefer to buy them separately ... I just have a good discount together ... The Electrolux oven, quite a high model, seems OK - I'm just wondering if it's not better from ikea ... I assume the hob whirlpool because it has interesting power reduction options after reaching the boiling point, probably not every model has it and it will be useful to me as I think .... the dishwasher was chosen by the seller, because apparently it has a nice convenient drawer for art and automatic opening after washing in order to drying...

ixs , give up the equipment and Ikea, remember the seller will always recommend what he has the highest commission on. As for the dishwasher, see the Electrolux offer, there is a lot to choose from. There are also many new solutions, especially in the 60 cm range.

ixs I have an Electrolux ESL4655RO for 10 months, I am fully satisfied. A small flaw, the cutlery holder has an unfortunate design of the handle, but I just unhooked it. This is my second Electrolux dishwasher. The previous one wore out and did not break down, it worked for over 10 years. The currently produced ones will not last that long.
It's a pity that all new solutions are only in dishwashers 60. For example, Quick Select Level 3, it's just a ride.

The choice of the oven fell on Ikee ... The decisive was:
very aesthetic performance!! - much better than the twin Elektrolux (in Elektrolux I was still offended by the transparent glass through which you can see the entire not very aesthetic center of the oven ....)
    - interesting functions - practically the same as in Elektrolux and additionally a higher max temperature + pyrolysis ... and of course steam
    - according to the information of an ikea employee - and confirmed personally from a visual comparison of models .... the producer of these cookers for Ikea is Elektrolux ...
and a 5-year warranty at no extra cost...
I'll let you know how it works when I use it...

The ikea oven works very well - I am 100% satisfied, maybe the brand is not so well known, but it looks like an electrolux for ikea - in addition, it is much nicer than the electrolux - at least for me - I can recommend

FAQ

TL;DR: For steam ovens under PLN 2,500, one buyer reports “100% satisfied” with IKEA FINSMAKARE; prioritize insulation and verify pyrolysis vs steam. [Elektroda, ixs, post #19418239]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps home renovators choose a safe, steam-capable black built‑in oven, especially when installed beside a fridge.

Quick Facts

What’s the best steam oven under PLN 2,500 that also looks great in black?

From this thread’s journey, IKEA FINSMAKARE stands out. It was chosen for superior aesthetics, steam plus pyrolysis, and a 5‑year warranty. The buyer also noted a close resemblance to Electrolux designs. If you value clean lines, hidden controls, and steam baking, it’s a strong shortlist pick. [Elektroda, ixs, post #18302308]

Pyrolysis vs steam cleaning: which should I choose?

Pyrolysis incinerates residue; steam loosens grime for wipe‑down. One owner picked a steam oven with pyrolysis and found steam cleaning messy to sponge out. They cautioned against caustic cleaners that can damage enamel. After roasting chicken at 180°C, their cavity stayed clean. “Everything has its advantages and disadvantages.” [Elektroda, emigrant, post #18213279]

Can pyrolysis damage oven gaskets or glass?

Yes, extreme heat can stress components. One report described multiple self‑clean cycles leading to warranty returns, with even a heat‑resistant gasket failing. If you opt for pyrolysis, follow load, door‑locking, and cooling guidance strictly to reduce thermal shock. [Elektroda, Ryszard49, post #18213034]

I’m installing an oven beside a fridge. What should I prioritize?

Prioritize strong insulation and a cool‑door specification. The thread author leaned toward pyrolysis‑equipped models because they often have better insulation, even if the cycle isn’t used. This helps keep side panels cooler, benefiting an adjacent fridge in a tall column. [Elektroda, ixs, post #18213234]

Is Samsung Dual Cook worth it under PLN 2,500?

Mixed feedback in the thread. One user replaced a Samsung Dual Cook with Bosch due to disadvantages. If steam is critical at this price, compare Electrolux and IKEA options closely, then confirm real‑world performance in store. [Elektroda, Ryszard49, post #18219171]

Can I get a Bosch oven with steam within PLN 2,500?

Typically no, according to the thread’s market checks. Steam‑equipped Bosch units pushed past PLN 3,000, while a Bosch like HBG634BB1 fit the budget without steam. Electrolux models with steam were available within the PLN 2,500 ceiling. [Elektroda, ixs, post #18220181]

Are Amica steam ovens a safe choice here?

They offer strong feature sets and attractive styling. However, the thread mentions feedback about weak telescopic rails on some units. Inspect rails and slide‑out stability on a display model before purchase. [Elektroda, ixs, post #18220181]

Which Electrolux steam series should I look at?

The 700 series featured prominently in the shortlists. The Electrolux EOC8P31Z SteamCrisp also appeared in a proposed set and matches the steam requirement. Compare aesthetics, rails, and warranty before deciding. [Elektroda, ixs, post #18223706]

Is IKEA FINSMAKARE actually made by Electrolux?

An IKEA employee reportedly confirmed Electrolux as the producer, and the buyer observed strong visual similarity. This helped justify choosing the IKEA model for look, features, and warranty. [Elektroda, ixs, post #18302308]

How do I choose a steam oven fast?

  1. List must‑haves: steam function, at least one telescopic level, black finish, strong insulation.
  2. Shortlist models (e.g., Electrolux 700, Samsung Dual Cook, Bosch 4D) and check which actually include steam at your price.
  3. Validate in person: door coolness, rail quality, control feel, and warranty terms, then buy. [Elektroda, ixs, post #18211969]

For 45 cm dishwashers, can I get solid performance and new features?

Yes. A user reports 10 months of satisfaction with Electrolux ESL4655RO and had a prior Electrolux run over 10 years. Note that many of the newest features, like advanced QuickSelect Level 3, show up mainly on 60 cm models. [Elektroda, Ryszard49, post #18224106]

Is steam‑cleaning enough for everyday messes?

It works for light soils but requires wiping pooled water. One owner found steam cleaning tedious and preferred having pyrolysis available. They also warned that caustic chemicals can ruin enamel, so avoid them. [Elektroda, emigrant, post #18213279]

Do extended warranties matter for this purchase?

They can tip the balance. The IKEA FINSMAKARE’s included 5‑year warranty was a decisive factor for the thread author. Long coverage adds safety when installing beside a fridge. [Elektroda, ixs, post #18221717]

How has IKEA FINSMAKARE held up over time?

Positively reported. The buyer later wrote, “The ikea oven works very well – I am 100% satisfied,” and recommended it. Long‑term satisfaction supports the initial choice on aesthetics and features. [Elektroda, ixs, post #19418239]
