    Hello everyone,,
so lately I've been finding myself turning to more electronics and practical engineering ideas as opposed to straight up software/code (I'm a Computer Science major). I've taken one electrical engineering course as part of a requirement and I really did enjoy the material and now I find myself more in want AND need of the knowledge and capability to execute some of my ideas.

I've messed around with Arduinos and NXT in the past but I'd like to get even more low-level if possible and get to the fundamentals of everything. My foundation physics/school knowledge is nowhere near good which is why I would like to ask -

what is the best (preferably online) resource to start learning from? One that comes with projects and practical applications and hopefully starts from the basics. I wouldn't even mind multiple resources (the wiki for beginners has some good resources; khanacademy is what I'll probably use to brush up on science fundamentals).

I'm someone who likes to take complicated things and deconstruct them to their simplest forms and then understand them to the point that I can reconstruct it without aid from memory but more from knowledge and I really want to do that with engineering outside of my college and develop it as a side hobby. I find myself learning more and getting more done effectively when I am not under the pressure of grades/tests/..etc.

Thanks for any and all information provided!

    Hello,
I think good point to start is YT and channels:
EEVBlog - Electronics from beginners to professionals
    3blue1Brown - Mostly math problems
