Diagnose Grundig LCD TV panel problem. 55"
LCD TV No Picture backlight OK sound OK. Power voltages OK and Mainboard is OK, Disconnecting the T-Con board left and right ribbons gives same results both sides. Disconnected side is white and connected side is black no trace of a picture on either side. When I swap over which ribbon is disconnected it gives the same result just different sides.
I can not find any faults in voltages on the T-Con and only one leak to earth on one side of the screen (thin boards connected to foils) but even though the resistance on the DMM is only 35 ohms it does not seem to drop the voltage down. The voltage is 1.8 volts. There must be no current flowing.
What does it tell us when we have black half and white half screen when disconnecting one of the TCon ribbons, same on either side?
