How can I control two trains that are on different tracks and moving towards the same junction. I want in my project that the forward train may signal the previous train to reduce speed. I would like to accomplish this by using digital logic. Please help me i'm new here.

Here are a couple questions that I have.

# How is the speed control implemented in your trains. Can the trains change speed independently?
# Are the power connections between the two trains the same. If so you might be able to communicate via the existing shared power connection.
# It sounds like you want to have some relative position information about the trains. So that you know which train needs to slow down and when. How do you envision this working?

first of all the two trains are Independent to move and moves towards the single junction and we have to control the two independent train pass through the junction safely. by a signal that the forward train give to the previous train in the form of LED.
