Hi,
I wasn't able to find a "Contact Us" link so I'm using this format to suggest a feature for the EEWEB forum:
When I recieve an email alert to a reply to a post that I'm active on, sometimes it's hard to find the location of the email referenced reply. This occurs, mainly, on a thread that has many replies with many branches.
I suggest adding "bookmarks" to the replys and a link to the pertinent bookmark in the URL that comes with the email.
It would work something like this:
The URL in the email would include a '#' clause on the end of it, that points to the bookmark:
http://www.eeweb.com/electronics-forum/someones-question/index.html#repy2.1.1
And the posts would look something like this:
Header and body of reply #1
Header and body of reply #2
Header and body of reply #2.1
Header and body of reply #2.1.1
That way, when I click on the link in the email, I am taken right to the reply that generated the email.
