Masters or Bachelors?

I would really like to go into power engineering, but my college only offers 2 intro classes on power, and focuses more of digital and analog circuits. I figured I was graduate here and get a masters in power engineering somewhere but I had a few questions

1. Do I need to have more than Intro to Power and Power Electronics courses to get into a masters program at a different college for Power Engineering?

2. Would I be better off trying to transfer to an out of state college that does offer Power Engineering for undergrads?

What state are you in?

As far as power classes, you really should try to take more, since you want that to be your specialization, but there are sometimes overlap in other classes. You should talk with your adviser or prominent power professors in your school to see what they say.

I would do some research. If it were me, I would take any class that had power engineering involved, but I would try to focus on it when I got to graduate school. I would try and get as much experiences in electrical engineering for my undergraduate.

As for graduate school, be sure to do a lot of research and try to attend an online college. They are cheaper and you don't have to move to attend classes. Here are a few electrical engineering schools:
