I have doubt about atomic theory about that why protons in the nucleus of an atom do not repel as they are the same charge particles. Please explain to me.
Hi it can be resulted of pressure in nucleated atom and transforming between mass and energy at that time, other cause is neutron in core of atom. I Think!
The protons within a nucleus are bound by the _nuclear force_ which is also known as the strong force. It is the breakage of the bond due to the strong force that we get atomic energy (in the form of a chain reaction) which is harnessed as nuclear power (when controlled) or as an atomic bomb (when uncontrolled).
