Hello. How to make a low frequency toroidal transformer with my own specification such as if I need an o/p of 50 V 2 A over an input of 220 V then calculated the size, turns ratio and all. Thank you.

While going for the toroidal transformer you need to make sure of below things

* Constant cross-sectional area of the toroidal core. Maintain the proper diameter to height ratio.
* Offer resistance to the temperature when there is an increase due to to the sum of the copper and, to a lesser extent, the core losses.
