Peak Voltage Detection

Hi all,

Actually i am working with an application to read the Exact Piezoelectric sensor output peak voltage. I tried with some reference design from the internet but i am not able to match the exact voltage, what i read in the adc(12-bit) and the output of piezoelectric sensor(input) peak voltage measured in scope.kindly guide me solve the issue with some circuit design..

What sort of rise time are you expecting. If you only want to know what the peak voltage is, then an analogue peak hold circuit would probably do what you want. The slew rate of the peak hold would have to be fast enough, hence my question regarding rise time.
You have to match the sampling and slew rate of an ADC to the rise time of the piezo device, or you won't get sensible answers. For the same reason, you have to make sure that your scope has sufficient speed to achieve a reliable measurement.
