Please note that I have no circuit design or engineering background. So any explanation should be kept simple and easy to follow for someone like myself. Thank you.
1. Is there a processor core which is called a bootstrap core and all other additional core are termed WFE on a multi core chip such as a ARM core SoC and ARM core MCU ?
2. For every ARM core found in smart phones SoC chips how many boot loaders are required ? Would each core have a requirement of its own dedicated boot loader ? Would these boot loaders be found in flash memory and or in EPROM ? Can it be located anywhere else on die or off die ?
3. For any multi ARM core chip such as a SoC how can an additional core act as the main or bootstrap core ? So for a SoC used in smart phone devices how can a secondary or additional ARM core act like the bootstrap which would enable this additional core to receive all IO traffic and control all CPU functionality of every running application and or OS code ?
Thanks
