Best component for replacing ball switch?

I have a device that uses a ball switch to sense movement. I would like to replace this with a small component around 2mm X 2mm X 4mm in size that will generate a signal around 2Hz to 100Hz. This way I do not need movement to trigger a response in the device. I appreciate your help.
