Thank you in advance!!
I need to make a digital binary clock for a project and I have created a Multisim to try to trouble shoot it. (pic of file attached)
When I start the multisim the seconds start counting from 1 to 58 until it populates minutes etc. is this the way it should run?
What would be the best place to put LED's before or after the 7 segment display?
I feel a little lost maybe somone can explain a little better if im going in the right direction the instructions are below:
Design a 24 hour digital Clock that displays the time in Binary-Coded-Decimal.
You must finish the design by using counters, combined with the appropriate reset logic, to count the seconds, minutes, and hours of the day. Additionally, the final design at a minimum should include:
A 24 Hour BCD display that shows
Hours , Minutes ,Seconds
A Set Time Button along with:
Set Hours Button
Set Minutes Button
Set Seconds Button
The operation should be such that when the "Set Time" button is depressed, the
clock temporarily stops counting and you can manually push the Hours/Minutes/Seconds button to increment "set" those counts"
A 9V source powered by a:
9V Battery or 9V Power Supply
