Another migrant from the venerable EPE chatzone. Starting to like the new look and feel of the forum. The extra news items on the front pages are reasonably interesting too.By posting this, I certify I'm not a robot

Can we get some smiley/emoticons in the forum?

Welcome Ian, it's pretty good isn't it? I'm awaiting a few answers myself (co-editor Max is over here in Europe at the moment) but EEWeb is a bit different from the old Chat Zone with a focus on plain text commenting without the frills. I suppose there's the HTML option <> button which I agree might be a drag if we have to start coding, especially when there is no Preview...
We'll see how things develop I'm sure. Meanwhile there's plenty of online content on here to appeal to electronics engineers and hobbyists.Welcome againAlan

Maybe you EPE Chat Zone heroes (and heroines) could compile a list of the things you really liked (and didn;t like) about the old Chat Zones and also the things you like / don;t like / would like to see added/modified here on EEWEb.com -- you can email me directly at max.maxfield(_at_)aspencore.com
