What Is the A455N Component Connected to Pin 32/33 (XOSC) on TI 2540 SoC?

I have this little handheld device that uses a TI 2540 SOC and has inductive charging, Bluetooth, 3 axis accelerometer and a resistive force sensor.  There is a component attached to pin 32 and 33 on the processor which I need help identifying.
 Pin 32 and 33 can be digital or analog I/O or a 32.768 kHz  XOSC according to the TI chip spec. I'm not sure what an XOSC is to be honest. Anyhow, the component connected to those pins is shown here with A455N stamped on it. Any ideas what that is?At the same time, the two components in the red boxes are also eluding Me to their function. Any help would be great.Thanks!

"XOSC" probably means Oscillator Crystal or Crystal Oscillator, and that's what that A455N looks like on your board.  Prod around with a scope and you should find a clock waveform on one of the pins.
The other two components are more difficult.  SMD component markings are cryptic, there are very few indexes available and there are no manufacturers marks on them.  So googling is well nigh impossible.  If your device is working you can prod around with a DVM and identify pins in common with the main microcontroller, and the power and ground rails.   It might be worth looking around on TI's site, though there is no guarantee these will be TI Parts.    With the lowish pin count they may be I2C devices of some sort, memory or temperature sensors - the function of the device might give you more clues.  The yellow component also looks like an oscillator, and the parts outlined in Orange look like an RF circuit and output/input of some sort.Good luck with it!

Yes that A455N looks like a Crystal oscillatorThe part on the lower left is an odd shape and might be an isolater of some kind. The other one could be just about any thing.. Hmm, could it be that one of them is a regulator?

I agree with David that "XOSC" means Oscillator Crystal or Crystal Oscillator, as Crystal is often abbreviated as X and OSC is a standard abbreviation for Oscillator. I think your crystal is the metal-and-ceramic-cased part you have circled in yellow: Crystals are often packaged this way, and I see traces from this part to pins 22 and 23 of the CC2540, based on the top-view of the CC2540 pinout you included. Note that your CC2540 is rotated 90 degrees clockwise from the top-view, which puts pin 21 at the left end of the bottom edge, and pins 22 and 23 to the right of pin 21.
