I purchased an air purifier printed 110V. It has a power adapter of 100-240V. Can I use the air purifier with a power supply of 220-240V? Is the adapter also a converter or transformer? I’m really confused.

Hi. Can you share some photos and schematics?Does the purifier work with AC or DC? Frequency?If you have a power supply of 240V, i think a simple transformer 2:1 is enough.Don't connect your purifier of 110V to a power supply of 240V. It could be destroyed.How many ampere does your device absorb?In theory you can use a resistive partitor too, to halve the voltage.Be careful.Giovanni Di Maria
