Best beginner resources and lab guides for learning digital electronics independently

I'm trying to teach my self electronics. I want to start learning digital electronics. Can any one direct me to some easy to understand material, and labs.. or would any one be willing to offer me lessons

Hi, maybe we can team up? I graduated recently in computer science. I want to re-do an Assembly homework for teamwork practice. It's not electronics, but at assembly-level, you do think about some hardware concepts. Also, I think it can be beginner-friendly.

Maybe if we work well together, we could learn more about hardware too. I'm new to hardware/electronics. I have a lot of books, and I tried it before, but I had a lot of trouble. But I'd be willing to try it again as a team.
