Identifying PCB 3D Rendering Software Used in Magazine Images

Hello...

I have seen in a few mags the same type of 3d generated boards.

Does anyone know what it is? I have a friend writing a book and is interested what systems was used.

I have not seen any software generating this type of 3d Image

I think you can use Diptrace.
You can add your own library, if you don't find the components.
Than, if you want to use a real 3D software, you can use ArtOfIllusion or Blender, both freeware.

Hi.
Magazines and authors use their preferred software (free and commercial).
There is not a rule.
There are many software to produce 3D.
There are very professional software and very expensive tools.
