We have tested the battery thoroughly. The resting voltage is 12.8V and the alternator charging voltage is 14.6V, both within normal range. The battery has also been load tested and passed. We have tried disconnecting the positive terminal for extended periods (up to 24 hours) which temporarily clears the fault, but it returns after 15-20 minutes of driving. We do not believe the battery is the cause as the fault persists even with a fully charged battery showing correct voltage.
