    How to convert battery capacity, for example 250 Ah at 12 V, to kWh at 220 V? I need to calculate how many and what kind of batteries I need to build a mini power plant.

    You also need to take into account the losses of the device converting 12V to 220V.

    250 Ah * 12V = 3000 Wh = 3 kWh

    Hello
    I`m going on holiday soon and I`m wondering, since there won`t be any electricity there, whether I`ll be able to provide some light using a battery.

    The case looks like this:

    battery: 100Ah 12V
    bulb: regular household: 40W 230V

    100 Ah * 12 V = 1200 Wh => 1.2 kWh
    1200 Wh: 40W = 30h

    Do I understand correctly that a fully charged battery will allow me to use a 40W bulb for approximately 30 hours?

    When using a 12V/230V converter, you must take into account at least 30% losses. A 12V bulb will be more economical.
