    Hello
My problem is that after connecting to a USB or SD or pressing a cd with MP3, it shows that there is Error Error 06.
I will add that the wma tiles read normally, the only problem is the MP3 format.
    Please help.
I was looking for German and French forums and others and nothing.
I bought the radio together with the car and I can not replace it or give it back to the site (no documentation)
Best regards and thank you in advance for your help.

Check if mp3 has constant bitrate (not vbr) and max bitrate 192kb / s If not, then it may be the cause of non-performance mp3.

I warmly welcome. This is my first post in this forum. Along with the car I bought from Germany, I got this radio with my inventory. I had a similar problem, but only with a USB interface (I have not used the SD / MMC slot so far). I connected the USB PRETEC 4GB and the message Error 06 popped up, I did not give up and connected KONGSTONA 8 GB the cheapest model and again the same. By accident, I turned off and turned on the radio as Kingston was in the USB socket and surprisingly the radio began to read mp3. Because I had several hundred pieces on the pone, it took a few seconds before I heard the music. When the player is inserted into the USB port for the first time, the radio will probably read the information before it can play music from it. If the pen is not pulled out of the socket, the radio will play the mp3 immediately after activating the USB function on the radio. Play then occurs in the place where you stopped listening to music from the pen for the last time. I hope I helped you. If the ERROR 06 message appears, leave the USB slot in the socket and turn it off again, it should be fine. If not, replace PENA with the simplest one in my case KINGSTON (from the cheapest series), I have 8GB and it works. I suppose that the SD / MMC slot will be similar. I read in the manual that the radio supports SD cards up to 2GB. I have found a manual in the FRENCH language on the web, but maybe someone will be helpful in enclosing the link http://diplodocs.pl/instruction-inservice-usuging/SILVERCREST/CRE-719-_F
With the radio I'm happy, it's mounted in the car of the wife of the Mercedes A140 and performs very well.
    Best regards, darc

Similar symptoms are if the first song on the memory card is a song with unusual characters in the name. For example, I had the first song called: _costamnazwa.mp3 and dropped the error. I changed to the letters only and there was git.
