    Hello!
Does any of my esteemed colleagues know what the voltage in the railway traction is (in Poland) and whether it is a constant or variable voltage.

    Hello!

As my previous speaker wrote - in the traction network of PKP, the voltage is 3000V (3kV) of direct current. In addition to traction voltage, there are also power lines for substations where the voltage ranges from 6kV to 12kV - unless something has changed since 2000 - since then I have only "love" for trains with PKP - greetings to all lovers of the steam railway :)

If anyone asks, I was working until the accident.

The frequency of 16 2/3 Hz is used in German, Belgian and (if I remember correctly) Swiss traction.

    Regards!

Sorry, I got carried away. There are a few of these systems and sometimes it can get mixed up.
