Inverted image from the Asus laptop camera
You've probably been shocked by the inverted camera image on an Asus laptop?
You are not the only one - there are hundreds or even thousands of such people. There are several solutions to this problem. I will present them below so that you can remove the defect or at least avoid it in such a way as to enjoy the correct operation of the image.
Method 1.
The first method is actually a simple trick to bypass, not fix, the issue.
Enter the webcam settings on your laptop, ( e.g. USB Video Device ) and select " image inversion ". This way, by inverting the inverted image, you will get the right view.
This simple trick is great if you want to act quickly, but if you want to completely fix the problem, check out the steps below.
Way 2 . ( Highest probability of solving the problem )
The next step is also not incredibly difficult. You just need to uninstall the drivers from the webcam, download other ( it's about the version ) and reinstall them. Then restart the computer and enjoy the correct camera image.
However, if this does not help, try installing a different version of the drivers. Some laptops, due to the wrong version of the drivers, are not able to correctly display the image from the webcam. It is very likely that the problem lies in the drivers. It shouldn't take long to find the right drivers if you know your webcam model.
Attention: Remember that you must restart your computer after installing and uninstalling drivers.
Way 3.
The cause of the inverted image may also be the webcam program that has problems with integration with laptops of this series. Try to uninstall the current webcam program and download it from a completely different manufacturer. Weird? And yet it sometimes helps ...
Way 4.
Uninstall the codecs installed on your laptop, restart your computer and check if the webcam image is displayed correctly now. Yes? That's great, because the problem was with the codecs. Perhaps some of them "bite" (are incompatible)with the camera controllers, causing the displayed image to be inverted and changing the parameter corresponding to it ( even in the registry ).
Hope any of the above methods helped you with your problem.
