Hello. I have a problem with the built-in camera in Asus. I have had Windows 10 for about a week and today I noticed that my camera was turned upside down when I wanted to make a call via Skype. There was also no sound and the microphone did not work, but I solved these problems. Unfortunately, I have been left with this unfortunate painting and I cannot deal with it. I read that the only option would be to go back to Win 7, but that's not an option :( When it comes to computers, this is black magic to me and I don't know what to do to fix this problem. Please help me with detailed instructions (as for a child :P ) what I should do step by step. I have been struggling with it since the morning and I hope that some good soul will help me solve it.
Thank you in advance for your help.

    Run regedit, go to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Class \ {6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} \ 0000 \ DefaultSettings
    and:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Class \ {6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} \ 0000 \ Settings

Find a Flip there and set it to 1 if it is 0 or vice versa.

I did with this notebook exactly as written. It popped up if it should make changes to my computer and if I want to add it to the registry. I added. Turn the laptop off and on, I checked the webcam hopefully, but unfortunately no changes :( Is it impossible to do this anymore without changing Windows? :( I hope there is still a way out.

Is it an imaging device from the device manager? If so, then USB2.0 0.3M UVC WebCam. Aleee ... if I wanted to set up in the Skype settings, apart from that, USB2.0 .. There was also Asus Virtual Camera, and the device manager does not have it.

The third driver from Asus worked :)
I am so happy! I don't know how to thank you! :)
I thought that nothing can be done without changing the system, and here you are :)
And thank you for your persistence in explaining to me like a child :)

@ bum78 what's your camera Enter the identifier from the device manager (pid and vid). For this try to install drivers for W7 (proper).

You download, unpack (7zip), install from the device manager by selecting the camera driver updates and selecting the directory with unpacked drivers as a source.

Good morning, I have a similar problem. My computer is an Asus K52jc. After updating the system to win10 home, my webcam works but upside down. My webcam is: USB VID_04F2 & PID_B1E5 & REV_2069 & MI_00
    USB VID_04F2 & PID_B1E5 & MI_00
Thank you in advance for your help. I would like to mention that I have already installed all the drivers for win7 and there are no drivers anywhere on win10, please help. Regards.

Sure, there is no, since the last drivers were released 11 years ago under W7, there are no others.
If these don't work after manual installation https://dl.driverpack.io/driverpacks/repack/W.../Chicony-Sonix-WinAll-061.005.200.440_CNF7129 then-drp.zip that the camera will not work under W10, and it offers terrible quality anyway, there is no point in using it. Buy a modern USB camera.

Thank you for the answer, unfortunately my webcam is still working but upside down. I know that my predecessors came to an agreement with the webcam and it finally worked for them. A portable USB webcam does not suit me because I work a lot in the field and I need to have as little equipment as possible. If someone has an idea how to solve the problem, please help and greetings.
