Hello dear forum users, I am writing to you to solve the problem of a fault in my dishwasher. So that you do not suspect me of laziness, I will point out that I tried to remove the problem by analyzing the manual and information from the net. Unfortunately, not much has been achieved, there is still a fault ... Moving on to the merits: I have been using a Bosch dishwasher for over 2 years, so far everything was ok, until the E14 error started popping up and the water supply indicator light began to light up. Until now, I have tried to clean the filters, checked the water supply, even unscrewed the casing to remove the water supply hose and blow it with a high-pressure compressor. Unfortunately, it was to no avail :| So maybe one of you knows what could be the cause of this phenomenon and how to eliminate these errors without involving the service? Thanks in advance for your help.

The gentleman who fixes the dishwashers has just left. he removed the fault - he removed the side cover (on the left side) there is a sensor somewhere, and there are propellers next to it - apparently this sensor likes to hang, he moved these propellers with a screwdriver and that's it. The dishwasher works - and as for the brand - you said that the dishwashers are very good - it worked for me for 3 years without any problems - and this failure is not expensive - the mechanic took 50 zlotys to get home (over 20 km). I hope I helped somehow ;)

This gentleman is from Ostrów Wielkopolski ;) I found the number in the newspaper, but this gentleman had already repaired our automatic machine - also a Bosch one - and I was very happy. 606536829 - this is the number from the announcement.

I don't want to croak, but as my colleague wrote, the problem may come back (if something worked that something turned on, the question is what and for what reason ...)

    Added after 5 [minutes]:

In addition, I will say that the filters in the dishwasher are only used to filter the closed water circuit ... and the washing water or "soup" in which the dishwasher washes (I recommend opening the dishwasher after about 30 minutes and seeing what the water looks like) must be released through the drain pump and if food remains don't block it, everything will be ok but it may happen that something gets into the pump which will block it and cleaning the filter and complaints about this filter do nothing BECAUSE IT JUST USE SOMETHING ELSE......

Can you tell me more about this error and the possibility of self-repair, possibly the cost of repair?
First, the tap lit up for me, according to the instructions, I cleaned the heavily scaled inlet filter, but unfortunately, my satisfaction did not last long, because the code E:14 appeared on the display
PS is the first glitch since using -ie. about 6-7 years; although it seems to me that for a few months it started to work louder, hum - but it's such a subjective feeling.
Thank you for all your help.

I had this problem too. Non-resettable faucet.
The gentleman came from the service, took out the dishwasher, put it on the "back" to pour out the water that had collected somewhere and the dishwasher was blocked. Then put it on "legs" installed and everything is running.

I understand that the topic has not been discussed for a long time, but the advice helped me in 07.2016 and maybe it will help someone. I could not unscrew the left side of the housing, because the incision in the screw is anti-burglary. I suggested that you moved some propellers and, without replacing the element, twisted the dishwasher and it should work like that. Since I couldn't move the propeller with a screwdriver, I gently turned the dishwasher sideways and it helped. Four days of washing. Thanks for fixing my dishwasher online, though maybe no one will read this.

    Hello
Thank you especially gabi for help.
Well, exactly the same thing happened in my dishwasher. Glowing tap, displays error e14 and resets washing to 0:01.
So I took off the side cover, I didn't know which sensor it was, but only one mini element was pinned to the board with a cube, so I dismantled it. I tapped, I knocked, I blew. I installed the dishwasher and put it back together. And it runs like new.
    Thanks😁👍

Topic summary

The Bosch SMS 50 dishwasher is experiencing a persistent E14 error and a water supply indicator light issue. Users have reported similar problems, often linked to a blockage or malfunction in the water supply system. Common troubleshooting steps include cleaning filters and checking hoses, but these may not resolve the issue. A successful solution involved accessing the side cover to adjust a sensor and propellers, which can become stuck. Some users have also suggested that water accumulation in the machine can cause the error, necessitating a thorough check of the drainage system. Professional repair services are available, with costs typically around 50 zlotys for minor fixes.
