    AUDI Q7 2008 3.0 TDI ENGINE: CAS
During normal driving, the engine light came on today.
I didn't notice any drop in power.
After connecting to the computer, vcds showed the following error: 001592 P0638.
If you try to delete it - it returns immediately - no matter if the engine is turned off or not.

I attach a screenshot from VCDS and a photo of the throttle

Damper to replace / regenerate. Still see the beam to see if it is starting to break. Start watching from the plug, take a 20 cm look at it, carefully pulling on the wires.

Saying there is a damaged throttle, what do you mean (in relation to the photo posted)?
no.1 or no.2 - throttle flap adjusters (whatever it is called)
    or No. 3 - dampers
Or maybe some other element that I missed?

The error in VCDS reads: 001592- throttle body actuator bank 1

Do you have a cable with alledrogo and you do not know which part has broken?

Turn on the ignition, remove the plugs and you'll find out what's what.

I have the original VCDS - as you can see from the version - in the attached photo. After disconnecting the next plugs, I had other errors - hence the question for experts on the subject.
In which measuring blocks I can check these specific components - specifically the throttle flap actuators - because I suspect them - and specifically the left one, in photo no: 1.
I will only mention that during the observations during the starting of the engine - both of them present themselves ...
Is this a good lead or something else?

J338 (Throttle body actuator) it is in your picture No.3.
It should have a 4-pin plug; cable colors: brown, red-gray, white, blue.
The method given by the domex colleague is reliable, if you unplug the plug from the j338 module, you should get an error about j338 with the description "open circuit"

    Hello.
A new damper has been ordered - delivery will take about a week.
    Thank you for your help.
I also read on other forums that I will have to do a short adaptation using vcds. I've read a lot of topics but they refer either to a different transmission- kwp2000 ... etc, or to different engines.
Does anyone know and share their knowledge about the correct procedure for this engine in this car?
