Clicking and spinning the scroll are two different things. There is a normal micro switch under the roll and pressing the scroll roll presses this micro switch. However, you may have a damaged scroll and such a repair is often unprofitable. For precaution, check on another computer, as I assume you have nothing messed up in your settings. You have not written whether the mouse is new or it worked before.

I have a similar problem with the mouse, namely the mouse worked normally, scrolling was done by turning the scroll, but my youngest did something that now, to scroll the page, you need to press the scroll and slightly move it up or down, how to change it and where to move the wheel as before? I have already searched everything and I have not found an answer or in any settings someone may have heard how such a cus will change. HP mouse win10 system
