Bosch kitchen machine with a lower bowl and upper blender.

    Good morning
I have a problem with the given Bosh model.
Well, after turning on the power and trying to start mixing with the use of the lower container, the red light blinks.
On the other hand, Bleder works at the top.
Has anyone encountered such a problem?

After removing the cup, put a plastic plug in this place, perhaps there is a magnet in it (it acts as a sensor). The second thing in the teddy bear can also be magnets, if there is no one, it will not turn on.

Grzegorz, did you find the reason for such a robot action? Did you advertise it ?? My model (the same one) has similar symptoms and I have no idea how to fix it.

I have the same model and a similar problem. When the robot is in the mixing position, it blinks red and does not turn on. Instead, it is activated in any other arm position.
The end caps have no effect on this. What's more, when the arm is in the mixing position, it is enough to set it to this position, hold the lever that allows its rotation 2-3 mm before its Max. A jump. The arm is then locked and the robot starts. It works normally as long as we hold down this lever. Releasing it causes the engine to spring back to its idle state, the engine to shut down in emergency mode, and the speed switch to flash red. Emergency mode does not place the drive in a non-collision position when lifting the agitator arm from above the bowl.
Anyone have a service, description of sensors, disassembly instructions?

I had a similar problem, but it was enough to install the bowl to make the problem disappear

The limit switch type sensor is in the housing at the bottom, with the bowl mounting on the left side. Just pressing it to simulate mounting the bowl. The round lid from the mixer drives for me does NOT have to be put on when working with the bowl (arm horizontally). There is a hole in it for, say, a magnet, but it is empty. After pressing this limit switch (from the bowl) several times, the robot works as it should.

Bosch MUM54251 Mixer Issue: Flashing Red Light When Using Lower Container, Blender Works

I marked the end with an arrow. Once it is flashing, you must turn it to zero for the change to take effect. Otherwise it won't work

Topic summary

The Bosch MUM54251 mixer is experiencing a flashing red light issue when using the lower container, while the blender function operates normally. Users suggest that the problem may be related to a sensor mechanism, specifically a limit switch that detects the bowl's presence. Solutions include ensuring the rear end cap is fitted, pressing the limit switch to simulate bowl installation, and adjusting the arm position while holding the lever to maintain operation. Some users have resolved the issue by properly installing the bowl or manipulating the sensor directly.
