Hello everyone. I have a problem with connecting the steering wheel control to the 2 DIN radio. The problem is that everyone said that the switching is capacitive and it turns out that it goes for Can-e. I can't find electrical schematics from the radio anywhere to be sure. two BLUE and smaller GREEN plugs. After disconnecting the green cube from the radio, the steering wheel control stopped working, so it turns out that it is the plug. The first five wires are yellow, blue, red, brown, white going to the AUX socket, so I have 4 wires left, but nowhere I do not see resistance changes there, testing with the meter in various ways. I sent photos to several places, but everyone replied that no interface, even a universal one, would fit or rather it was not sure if it would work ... apparently there are such universal models 5. Does anyone know the solution what would work for this Honda model? Below is a photo of the blue cube and the green cube. If necessary, I can take a more detailed photo. Hello, check out brown and orange, the first two pins in the green bone (in your photo, the first 2 pins on the right). Resistance control.
    Best regards.

We checked but the meter showed nothing there. We connected the original radio and, by trial and error, cut the orange-gray wire before the last one, but it still worked only after cutting the last brown-gray wire stopped working. We counted that this wire showed no resistance, but after connected to the 2 DIN radio and trying to program NIC. Supposedly, in Honda around 2009-2010, the solution after CAN began to be used, but I am not sure. I can not find or installation diagrams, not to mention any plug-ins of the original radio. I do not know how to make sure that there is a CAN signal, Maybe the thicker gray one must also be connected to the radio?

Plain signals with different resistance through two wires, neither capacitive nor CAN. The solution is the same as in Accord VII, the cable colors may be different.
Under the driver's pillow you have a connector and in it, among others. cables from the remote control.

I'm sorry with this capacity, I made a mistake, I meant the resistance. I had the meter set for the ohmmeter and I measured between the last two cables and there was nothing. We tried in several ways between different wires ... hence the idea that it was after CAN

Try to check the resistance between the car ground (negative) and the gray / brown wire

Then look at the steering wheel what you have been blamed for.

I raise the topic. Has anyone grasped the 2 din radio control from the steering wheel in a Honda FRV

What do you want to cover, the description is in your hand? The mere mention of 2din radio says nothing.

I would like to put the Clarion NX706 radio into the Honda FRv, which depends on the steering wheel control. Unfortunately, in my city I have not found anyone who would understand the topic of the steering wheel control adapter. What will suit this car and whether it is needed at all.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenges of connecting the steering wheel control to a 2 DIN radio in a 2009 Honda FRV. The user initially believed the connection was capacitive but later discovered it operates via CAN bus. They encountered difficulties in identifying the correct wiring, particularly with two plugs (blue and green) and several wires leading to the AUX socket. Various responses suggested checking specific wire resistances and indicated that the solution might be similar to that of the Honda Accord VII. The user also expressed interest in installing a Clarion NX706 radio but faced uncertainty regarding the compatibility of steering wheel control adapters for their vehicle.
