[Solved] - citroen c2 steering wheel control with clarion on peiying py9908

I have a problem with connecting the peiying py9908 radio, I need help connecting to the original control from the steering wheel in the original ISO socket there are four cables red green orange and brown and two cables plus and ground green plus and green yellow minus. what do i need to do? is any adapter needed for this radio? Please help Citroen C2 2004 1.4b vtr

In the original system you have a radio connected to the display and remote control via the VAN bus. And its contacts are led out in the connector. The radio you are wearing has an analog control input. And now there are two solutions.
1. VAN converter -> analog signals, but I don't know if you will find something like that on offer.
2.If the steering wheel control is only for the radio and is not connected with other vehicle components (e.g. on-board computer, air conditioning, cruise control, etc.), then you need to find where it connects to the element connected to the VAN bus (e.g. display) and there it disconnect and then connect to the radio and then teach the radio in the menu to the steering wheel functions.

You have a brown and black wire from the radio harness. I think it is an analog control input, i.e. resistor ladder. The purchased interface is the VAN bus converter into a signal pretending to be a resistor ladder. Since there is no cable with a small jack connector (not cinch), you need to determine where it is connected and what radio standard is intended (I would bet here on Sony / Pioneer, but it can also be JVC or Kenwood). It may be that this interface has a universal output depending on the cable connected to the radio. It does not matter as long as there is one line to connect to the radio. The values will not be important then because the radio has to be taught the remote control anyway.
